You're freaking lucky man. When I turned 16 my step mom let me buy her POS car from her for $400 (which is about what it was worth). However, I drove it for 2 years and then sold it for $500, lol. And it got about 30 mpg, but it was only about as large as I am. Ahh, the memories of the Blue Torpedo (Mazda GLC Hatchback. 1985, I think?)

Yea I am pretty lucky, its gonna be sweet getting to drive that thing around alone. Did you order with 4gb of ram or did you upgrade later, if you upgraded later did you notice a speed boost?

I just upgraded straight from apple. At the time it only would have saved me $10 to buy and add it myself, and I've never done that before so I just decided to have the Chinese do it.

So I can't speak for a speed boost, BUT, my blackbook only has 2 GB RAM (I think the processor is 2.1 or 2.2??), and my UMB is quite a bit faster. It also runs XP thru VMWare simultaneously with no real performance drop at all.

Im planning on running XP through bootcamp, for the games and such. Only one more day and ill have the damn thing lol, then its gonna be a long day of installing crap. Reinstalling OS from scratch to remove languages and printer drivers, then Windows, Final Cut, Aperture, GTA IV, Oblivion, Microsoft office, its gonna suck lol.
