It's 10 minutes before midnight - still Thursday December 30 - but my watch just started showing the following...

Maybe my watch is in a hurry to get 2021 over with - can't say I blame it.

It seems Apple wants to end 2021 early.
Screenshot from NYE, 2021 in Sydney Australia.

BTW Happy New Year!

So it’s more than 24 hours off? Gotta be more than a DST big.
No, the date is 10 minutes ahead. It was correctly showing "Thu 30" up through 11:49pm; then the date display switched to "Fri 31" - which is still what is showing now.

It'll be interesting to see if it does the same thing tonight.

Mine displays a similar ”bug?“ Is your UW appointment actually tomorrow, or was it today? My appointment to pick up food from Gemma is actually tomorrow, so I think the idea is to show the current time and date, plus the next appointment.

Haha, it happened again. A second or two ahead of 11:50pm, my watch switched to "Sat 1".

One additional odd thing is that, when the watch face is in "low power" mode it displays "Fri 31". But if I raise my wrist or tap on the screen, it brightens and shows "Sat 1" again. If I let the screen go back into the low power display, it says "Fri 31".

Think I'll try power-cycling the watch and see if it continues tomorrow.
