a) I see no pictures to prove that the OP does not have a green blog
b) how do you know if this is batch 1, 2 or 10. By date? How do you know when and if anything has already been in production

All speculation.

A lot of posters here are being unclear to you what the "green blob" problem is.

Could you take a picture of a white surface, such as a white wall or white piece of paper with your iPhone and upload it here?

Thanks :)

add me to list of people who have perfectly working iphone 4's.

i have 2 (one for me and one for my wife) that we bought the day att offered instore purchases.

We havent had a single problem w/ our phones. I guess we have been lucky.

could you please do a speedtest on internet over your none wifi connection with deathgrip and no deathgrip and see if it works. theres where it realy shows. dont mind the bars and ****.

I just received my iPhone 4 from Apple directly shipped to my home from China. The first thing I did was to check 3 things:

1 - Yellow tint bottom right screen - Mine has nothing - checked also for dead pixels its perfect

2 - I put the so called death grip on my phone in 2 different locations and I
did NOT lose 1 bar. Tried several times same result

3 - Proximity Sensor - Made several calls and watched in mirror holding the phone in several different locations. The phone stayed dark. The second I take it away from my ear it lights up. Exactly like my 3GS was, there is absolutly NO problem with the sensor.

My thoughts are that Apple made adjustments on the next batch of phones to correct the production issues. Anyone else have a 2nd batch phone that is perfect?

I got a iP4 on release day...guess what...no problems!:eek::cool:

Trust me. The signal problem is due to the sim card. If your sim card is off-set you won't have signal issues. Think about it, the sim touches the aluminum tray which touches the aluminum band around the phone. I had no problems with signal until I got a new sim in the iP4.

Seriously, stop! Did you even look at the sim tray? It's lined with a non conductive material.

I received my 32g today. No proximity sensor problem and I haven't tried to create "disappearing bars" grip. I haven't had any issues at all.

It sounds so clear. I was driving with both windows down and my friend on the other line had no idea I was even in a car. That's some cool stuff right there. I'm pretty impressed with it.

I got my 16 gig today, no camera spots, screen problems, death grip, or proximity sensor issues. Its a great phone.

Another bs post.... Why so many iPhone users are morons....

it's simply a lighting issue not the camera. don't take pics of white paper under florescent lighting and you should be fine

Bigreat

Bigreat read the forums the week 28 phones are definatly better then the first batch. Why the hell would I lie about what I posted. For me the biggest thing is the proximity issue. I do NOT have that problem. Leads me to believe its a hardware adjustment in the 2nd batch.

Stop your BS and go exchange your phone for a week 28 and then come back and report.

I already said I have a week 28 phone and it's no different than week 24 and 25.

I am sorry that I made a very illogical mistake. My statement that iPhone users were more likely to be morons is not right. Because iPhone is so widely used, and it is so easy to be used. Many many people who may be see as morons can easily amd more likely own and operate iPhones.

Ferris I am telling you I cannot get it to drop a single bar. I am not a kid reporting this stuff, I am a 50 yr old professional so you know where this is coming from.
I actually have more faith for a kid than a 50 years old professional when it comes to tech.

Anyone who has an iP4 that does not drop signal, connected to the same cell as another iP4 side-by-side that does drop, owes it to the world to send it to Engadget or Gizmodo for a tear-down to see what's changed internally.

My opinion? Nothing's changed apart from perception. There is this new quest for the 'Holy Grail' iP4 that doesn't drop signal, and it's become 'bragging rights' on here.

One thing the mostly US audience on here does not have access to is different carrier MicroSIMs. I have been swapping SIMs on an unlocked iP4 for weeks now - depending on the location /signal strength/ no. of users connected to a cell of the carrier at an given time, the signal drop issues become more or less apparent.

Just deal with it guys. Seriously. The sensor/camera issues I understand, but the reception whilst gripping that corner... it's not going to go away this iPhone generation.

Btw, the number of calls I've dropped because of this, since launch day = zero. But I thank my fantastic carrier for this.

Got my phone yesterday. I can make it go from 2-3 bars to no service with a "death grip". Other than that, no problems.

I Recived My Iphone 4 July 15 (week 28)

1 - I dont Have the Antena Issue

2- I Dont have Yellow Spot

3- No Sensor Issue

4- No Yellow Tinted Camera Issue

5- No Green Blob in the camera
