Just received my MagSafe wallet (3rd party)

I don’t think we can post links, but if you go to AliExpress and search for MagSafe wallet, you’ll find lots with logo
also side note, there are so many MagSafe chargers also on AliExpress. Theres one manufacturer that looks like they even have the charging animation. Just waiting for them to get back to me to confirm. Some of these manufacturers are selling original equipment for much cheaper. Some are true knockoffs, but some you get lucky and they are selling legit parts

Yes they should be all the same, however try to pick vendors who have better reviews and store ratings. I try to stay away from pop up aliexpress stores. Couple times, i reached out to the vendor for warranty concerns afterwards, and find out that store is no longer available.
Regarding the magsafe charger, vendor got back to me. He says that it does have animation, and on their posting shows a video of the MagSafe animation on a iPhone 12. Almost makes me think this is a Oem charger... i might purchase it to test.. I’ll keep you guys posted.
could anyone Post a Link with a good improved Magnet from aliexpress? Looking for real leather, stronger magnets, but find a good one.?!
Unfortunately very doubtful you’ll find actual genuine leather from AliExpress. Even if the listing in AliExpress says genuine leather, it’s very unlikely it will be. If you are looking for real leather, you will need to buy the original one for now. However if you don’t mind fake leather, just search for MagSafe wallet in AliExpress. There are bunch for sale
This review of the Apple wallet is interesting. Around 4.15, he mentions that the Apple Wallet has a friction clamp inside the bottom of the wallet that grips the cards no matter whether you have one, two or three cards. Will be interesting to know if the Aliexpress wallets ave those built in.
Can't say to be honest. I have tried to avoid buying third party Apple watch straps because should the bands get stuck on the watch due to manufacturing defects, Apple may not cover repairs under a warranty. Apple accessories are expensive but should your expensive phone/watch etc develop a fault due to an Apple or Apple approved accessory then you are covered for repairs under warranty
No chance at all in my opinion. They're probably the same magnets as the Apple ones anyway as they're all made in China
Seems very unlikely as there are already other third party magnet accessories for the 12. The ones that I have seen have very strong magnets as well.
My friend just bought an Apple one. Maybe I will post some side by side pictures today!
I doubt these knock offs have the same feature. They probably copied the design immediately without really knowing there’s a clamp inside.
hmm that clamp feature is tempting because ive used such cases in past and the cards stretch the material and cards fall out. fake leather cracks and falls apart over time unlike leather. same with leather shoes vs fake leather shoes especially brown. the strong magnets clinging hard to your leather case may also mess up the back of case like the mag charger does. Also im not sure if I want strong magnets in the wallet. It will be harder to separate when I want to clip phone to car magnet (often) and it may mess up the magnetic strip on cards. Im sure Apple has done many tests vs fast Chinese randoms. I see myself taking off the wallet often for workouts and drives. The apple brand wallet will last the life of the case without stretching out and the cards falling out. If I use it daily for a few years, the extra money is worth it. I really cant deal with the cards falling out due to stretching and this is why I originally didn't care for the wallet but now im interested.
Up to you to decide whether risk loosing your credit cards due to knock offs quality vs Apple one. lol
The Apple one is made in China too. Wallets for credit cards are no new invention made by apple first. With normal wallets you are not loosing your cards, why should this happen with that ones? ...
Because the knockoffs on AliExpress might not have that card clamp inside?
