I'm not interested in the health stuff on the Watch. But this is why. Why waste time trying to track this stuff if you can't even rely on the data?
It could be loose. It could have a bug. It could be this. It could be that. Hey, it almost got it right but left off a 1/4 of mile. Why didn't it measure my heartbeat? It's supposed to?
To be honest, this sounds like a nightmare trying to manage and you can't even be sure it's close to accurate. What the heck is the point?
I work out at least 2-3 times a week and play bball twice a week. That's enough for me. I don't care to measure it. I don't even like wearing a watch while doing this stuff.
I hear you. While I may have interest in using an Apple watch to track my runs, it doesn't sound like it can do it accurately without relying on my phone or requiring me synch up multiple apps. I'll wait for a future version that has a GPS app and is more stand alone device.
This sounds a whole lot like the original of the iPad where people were trying to justify things like not having a camera as 'no big deal.'
