Can we please revoke the little ****'s visa and send him back up north?

Of course, being a rich celeb, he's not going to spend a day in jail.

I hope he was given a Cavity search when he was arrested. After all the Indian diplomat seem to qualify when she was arrested recently.

See that Bieber is back at it again. This time for drag racing, resisting arrest, DUI (alcohol & drugs) and more charges to come. Not surprised at all. Unfortunately for us Canadians, this could finally be the time that he is sent back to us. Could be the break the Americans need from him. This boy is so out of control it is unbelievable. I just hope his money does not get him out of this trouble. He really needs a reality check.

Unfortunately money seems to be above the law which is absolute bull ****. As much as I want this little punk out of the states, I highly doubt it will happen.

Out of jail for DUI and drag racing on $2500 bond. Yeah, they're really sticking it to him.

I'm worse, I was hoping for a headline showing this:

Yep, that's mature. Just like a certain spoiled celeb in the news.

Bad news for our American southern cousins - at least according to the Miami police Bieber is an American citizen. Perhaps a typo, or perhaps he took out US citizenship....

He's going to get off because of this technicality.

Either way he's going to get off, just look at Lindsay Lohan. She spent like 2 hours in jail for multiple felonies.

Justin Bieber is most definitely not a US citizen. He has frequently stated he has no interest in taking out US citizenship.

Bieber, like many pop musicians, movie stars, and top athletes lives and works in the US on a O-1 Visa, a program of the Dept. of Home Land Security for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability or Achievement.

The O-1 nonimmigrant visa is for the individual who possesses extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics, or who has a demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry and has been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements.

The police officer who filled out the arrest report made a mistake. On one hand, its not the sort of mistake thats going to result in Bieber's case being thrown out of court.

On the other, the writing ability of the police officer is - frankly - dreadful. "Stuper" is not actually a word, and one has to question whether or not the person who wrote that narrative actually understands the words he used, or if he was simply writing down what he was told to. You would have thought that, given the high profile this case was going to receive, that the Miami PD (since they chose to release the arrest report) could have spent twenty minutes to have someone literate proof-read the document first.

Right. The kid has no interest in being a citizen, instead he'd rather **** all over this country and act as though the world owes him something.

After I posted the arrest report, I did some more reading.

He likely may have applied for US citizenship in the summer of 2013. No official word whether he would have received it, but one immigration lawyer thought it unlikely.

The 'typo' regarding citizenship may or may not be important. If the officer made the mistake, then it likely won't matter at all. If Bieber falsely claimed US citizenship intentionally, then one immigration lawyer is quoted as saying that he (the lawyer) would be crapping his pants if Bieber were his client. Apparently the US immigration folks take that kind of thing very seriously.

Technically speaking, Bieber's admission that he had been smoking pot all day could be all that is needed to deport him on grounds of 'moral turpitude'. Though I would guess that Bieber's management company will insure that he is represented by much better lawyers than most folks who are denied entry for 'moral turpitude' - simply for simply admitting that they smoked pot in the past even though they have never been even been arrested.

Its not really my point to defend or excuse Bieber's behavior.

But the kid is not only nineteen years old, but he also has experienced things in his teenage years that are so totally different to what most "normal" teenage boys undergo, that its difficult to make adequate comparisons. Since the kid was fourteen years old, he has been the object a worldwide attention, earned millions of dollars, etc.

None of which should excuse or forgive his loutish behavior in Miami, or anywhere else. He needs to take responsibility for his actions, and pay his debt to society. If he is lucky - and smart - he will let that lesson make him into a better human being. Because if he does not - then I'm afraid it seems very likely he will end up dead long before his time. And there are only a couple thousand examples of teenage superstars who died early to support that hypothesis.

I actually feel sorry for JB ... As perfect as his life looks, I think he's struggling to cope with everything. At just 19, he's on anti-depressants can't live a normal life and the media / press are bullying him.

Deep down, he's not a happy bunny. His parents aren't exactly helping either as they just hang off his shirt tails and offer him little moral guidance.

He's heading for a serious breakdown, rehab or an early death. He wanted to retire at Xmas but isn't able to due to all the pressure he's under. Read between the lines and not just what the press tells us ...

It doesn't excuse his loutish behaviour, but what do you expect from somebody living his life ?

He should spend time in a County jail where they will make a proper "little lady" out of him.

So, the rumours are true??

He does have a vagina.

Also, I have taken umbrage on the City of Birth on the arrest report.

I was born in Toronto, and he was definitely born in London, Ontario.

I doubt it. According to the AP article here:

According to U.S. immigration law, authorities do not revoke an individual's visa unless the person has been convicted of a violent crime or been sentenced to more than one year imprisonment.

Immigration attorney Ira Kurzban says neither driving under the influence nor driving without a license can make an individual eligible for deportation. Nor would either of those offenses keep Bieber from being readmitted into the U.S.

I doubt that he will be deported based on what he was charged with. DWI in of itself might get you a few days in the slammer if you refuse community service and I doubt he will get much of anything for using marijuanna.

Another lawyer who works in the field thinks otherwise: "… according to a Blaine lawyer who often defends B.C. residents who run afoul of U.S. law…. Len Saunders said Bieber could easily be booted out of the U.S. and barred from re-entry because of statements he made to police – regardless of the outcome of any criminal proceedings." Link

And I've had friends denied entry (and then put into the system to keep them out) based on their admission that they've smoked pot in the past (making them morally turped it seems) - though never even arrested. Though of course a deportation is different than being denied entry.

This is all really terribly upsetting.

Incredibly important issue, here.

Such a HUGE talent, and going through all these problems.

Losing such a HUGE talent from our shores...well...

Oh...I can't go on...:(

He's a huge something, that's for sure.

If only I was born with one.

Not a Justin B fan at all. But has it ever crossed anyone's mind that he turned out this way due to the fact he was extremely hated on since day one?

If he serves any time, there will be a virtual stampede of guys wanting to make him their bitch.

Watch his eyes pop-open then.

he's too rich to do time!

and remember, if we give him the toss, you know we'll be tossing him in only one direction.......YOURS :p
