There's plenty of bezel/lip on the front and back. There's also a small bumper right above the camera to keep it off the surface. You can see if you zoom in on the pics.

Honestly, I wasn't really too impressed. It's actually a good product don't get me wrong. I guess I'm not really the bumper type person. I thought I'd give it a try since the last time I used a bumper was the iphone 4 one.

I might post this in the marketplace section.

From the small amount of time using it I noticed no change in either LTE signal or wifi signal. I did run one speed test on wifi and the results were pretty much the same as always. Again, this isn't much info to make any type of conclusion.

This might be since the bumper is actually made of TPU under the aluminum so the aluminum never touches the phone.

I'm a bumper type person. I can't stand using the iPhone all covered up in plastic or rubber. The feel of metal mimics the naked iPhone and provides me the familiar tactile feel of an uncovered iPhone. I zoomed and saw that and I see cutouts for the antenna bands. Perhaps that minimizes the interference. I'm definitely going to order one of these from their site. Thanks for the pictures and keeping us updated.

Ordered it. Actually I ordered the SpaceGray/SpaceGray. Can't wait to get it.

Decided to give it a second try. It's growing on me. Makes the phone noticeable wider; kind of like my UAG-wide. It does look mighty sweet though.

Mine arrives soon. I've been running field test on my usual places. Logging time also. That way I have a comparison with the case on to review.

Nothing compares to the metal feel using the iPhone. Plastic, Rubber, film or leather diminishes the high end feel for me.

Just got my case in. iPhone 6s Plus...case color is Space Gray/Space Gray. I'll have to use it for a few days to see how I feel.

I also have the Apple Silicone Case and one of the SwitchEasy cases (Numbers I believe)

Impressions so far -

Getting it on was interesting.

I love the feel of the metal on the outside, and especially the buttons on the side. Best of any case.

I'm going to have to get used to how it feels with a bumper, since any bumper creates ridges around the borders of the phone. One of the reasons I like using it naked is because I can swipe the screens on the sides smoothly with the tapered screen. The SwitchEasy case was low profile so I could also feel the taper when using the phone which was great (but less protection). The Apple Silicone case had a lip on the edges so I also lost the tapered feeling.

This k11 bumper you don't feel the taper but you're getting better protection for it...due to the lip.

The case fits perfectly around the the whole phone EXCEPT the patch of TPU at the bottom...it's a little uneven I guess you could say, but it's tight. I could see someone with OCD not liking it.

The hole for the vibrate switch is pretty deep...so if you chew off your nails and have nubs for fingers, I think it'll be a little difficult to get to it.

The space grey metal is SLIGHTLY off, it's not exactly the same but it's nothing anyone would notice without sitting there and deeply analyzing it. I'd imagine it'd be difficult to get the exact same color made from Apple anyways.

The volume buttons are a tad bit loose, but nothing serious at all. Won't bother me personally. The power button is PERFECT though. Tight, isn't loose. I'll repeat, the way these 3 buttons function are the best. The feel of it is perfect when pressing.

Fit and finish of the case is 9/10 (-1 do to the tpu patch at the bottom + volume buttons).

Any questions, let me know.

If I do like this case I'll want to get rid of the iPhone Silicone + SwitchEasy cases. They are literally in perfect condition. That's a $55 MSRP worth of cases not including tax. I'd obviously do a deep discount.

To all those questioning the oval shaped separator. I believe its needed for strength. The large span of TPU at the bottom would be floating unsupported. As it is some are complaining about sagging at the bottom. You can imagine if there was yet again another flexible joint about 1/4" away. Thanotech wanted to make the lines somewhat symmetrical but maintain strength with metal. It's thoughtfulness like this and the bump at the camera lens that makes this a great design. The reason for these touches may not be obvious. Thanotech created and engineered a great design.

The problem is that it was not shown in the previews or images showing what the case looks like. Even in the promotional video, you could tell the lines in the bottom were the same size. There is no oval shaped separator. It was a bit disappointing, they delayed it so much. They said shipping would be in November... then in a week ... then in another week ... then in early December ... and it finally shipped in mid-December.

Really! I haven't seen a picture, video or review that didn't show the oval shaped opening at the bottom left and believe me I surfed every link to this product. Look at every picture on the main page of the kickstarter. that opening wasn't an accident and was always there. If you find a picture or video that shows the lower left side that doesn't have the oval please post it. Ii is mentioned spacifically in some reviewer posts.

I got the space grey/space grey K11 bumper a few days ago. It looks stunning in the color and the TPU matches well. The texture is great, but can be slippery...but I got a clear skinnit on the back of the phone so it is all good.

Pictures taken from my old 5C, so sorry about that
3D Touch works fine as well as the buttons. The phone feels so light again after using a cheap Best Buy rubber case

Wow that looks good! May I ask how much the whole set up was? Interested on it but can't find something that can protect the back.

I shouldn't have put it on... Cracked my Ice Max 3D which was holding strong and looking good with my eBay ripoff Apple leather case since. :( any good cheap e2e glass protectors that work with this thing?

I can't wait to receive mine. The holidays must be messing up shipments. Mine still in transit missing delivery date. I'm patiently waiting. :)

Yep sure, I got the 6S Skinomi SkinTech Clear Full body protector. I just installed the back part and it was fairly easy. There are parts that cover the sides, but they were so small it was hard to put - so I ignored them. Plus it might help if they were not installed, since this bumper is a perfect fit without them...so those being added might make it thicker and a pit of a pain later on.

The skin itself is pretty nice, as it adds grip while protecting the back from scratches. It is a thin layer, but it definitive feels thick-ish lol. I know that sounds dumb, but its a heavy duty thin skin lol.

I liked it so much I got one for my iWatch lol. And its really good there too.

I ordered one but haven't put it on yet.

When you speak about the TPU at the bottom - are you referring to the colors being different or what do you mean when you say it is uneven?

A little something that bugs me is the small line on the left side isn't fully filled in as is the one on the right side. DAE notice this? It is on the OP's pic in the first pic and mine has the same thing. The previews and videos from K 11 didn't show that. It's something small (no pun intended) but it takes away from the look a bit IMO.

When I say it's uneven, I mean the line is uneven. Not the color, but the physical line it makes when it touches the phone.

The oval shaped opening is for an antenna I believe...wifi or cellular...to prevent blocking from aluminum.

You are correct about the reason for the gaps. I was just trying to explain why only one was oval shaped. A complete separation like the other three works better for the antenna, but they are weaker structurally. The oval cut out gives the look of a separation without weakening the bumper.

I bought a knock off and it didn't work with the Ice Max either but it did work with daswise. Although you'll see a gap between the edge of the protector and the bumper's tpu.

Got it. The real K11 from ThanoTech. It is by far THE BEST BUMPER I have ever tried. Yes it's true, no signal degradation. It shows the same Field Test number in the same locations, where the signals was at its worst without a case. So if your in a low signal area, no worries. This thing will not make it any worse. :)

Now for some pics. I took a lot so you guys can see as much of it as possible. The only retouch I've done is remove dust particles I didn't catch before the shoot. Usually one or two particles at most. These shots are as true as they can get with indoor lighting.

Beautiful! Best bumper available! Great shots thank you. I have the same but black TPU. I'm tempted to also get the gray like yours. I had a slight problem with the QC on the first one sent. ThanoTech came through with flying colors in customer service. Sent me a replacement Fedex 2 day air.

I'm pumped. Let's see when it'll arrive. I backed the same color combination as kagharaht for delivery to Germany.

They missed to send me my tracking number, so I asked for it manually, to which they replied quite quickly. Anyhow, my tracking at HK Post hasn't updated for like three days. Kind of a bummer.

The item (RBxxxxxxHK) is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 17-Dec-2015.

I hope it'll update soonish, as I'll be on a 2 week vacation from Wednesday and would love to use the bumper during it.

You're welcome. Glad you like the pictures. I'll eventually get another as a backup. I'm always careful with my iPhone, but I'm sure one of these days I'll probably end up dropping it a few times or bumping into something. Just in case I completely ruin the bumper.

Ice Max cracked?

What a shame. I was hoping to get this along with an edge to edge protector to complete my setup, but it looks like I will seek another bumper.

From the looks of kagharaht's pictures, it doesn't seem as though the lip touch the curved edge of the protector? But then again maybe the lip touched it just enough to lift any edge to edge protector.
