Ice Max cracked?

What a shame. I was hoping to get this along with an edge to edge protector to complete my setup, but it looks like I will seek another bumper.

From the looks of kagharaht's pictures, it doesn't seem as though the lip touch the curved edge of the protector? But then again maybe the lip touched it just enough to lift any edge to edge protector.

The edge doesn't touch the curvature of the screen. Should be plenty of room for edge to edge glass.

From their FAQ site:

"Can I use Edge to Edge glass?

All Edge to Edge glass that we have tested work perfect with a couple "no name" glass not sticking and the Cinder from Cupert giving us some trouble when taking the K11 off or putting it on. "

Anyhow, my tracking at HK Post hasn't updated for like three days. Kind of a bummer.

I hope it'll update soonish, as I'll be on a 2 week vacation from Wednesday and would love to use the bumper during it.

It just updated. It's still in HK. Went from "is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 17-Dec-2015." to "is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 22-Dec-2015."

It seems like Thanotech used the cheapest delivery method they could get.

Long time lurker here and been using the bumper for 3 days now. I ordered the gold/ white and in a just a few hours ( holiday shopping with the wife ) already had dye transfer from my jeans. Jeans was washed a couple of times so surprised I had dye transfer. The bottom bulges a little bit on the charging opening, but might just be on my phone. Overall the quality to me is not top notch and will be using another bumper.
Almost forgot that I had to line the volume and power button on the inside with tape because it's exposed metal touching the phone and might in time scratch it.

So far no problems with any color transfer. No dust getting stuck on the TPU areas. Overall, everyone that has held the iPhone with this bumper just shouts out quality and "feels like the iPhone with no case". The tactile feel of the buttons is unbeatable. I would say, this is the best Aluminum Bumper in the market with a killer price point. To each his/her own of course. Still if you want the real feel of the iPhone instead of rubber, plastic, cloth and the closest look of a naked iPhone. This is it. I'm still getting another for backup and my wife is getting one for her new iPhone when she renews her contract.

Most premium Aluminum cases are well over $50 dollars. And these cases blocks the signals and are not as protective internally as the K11. This is A bargain compared to people paying $40 or more for a plastic case. The initial pricing is based on initial Kickstarter campaign. This is no different from many other KS campaigns.

This is why we have food critics. Anyone can tell you if a food tastes good or bad, it takes intellect and talent to describe what you're thinking to others.
Well it also messes with wifi reception. That problem with this bumper has been well documented.

Will you link to this well documented fact? In my personal experience it is a nonfact. Why are you so bound and determined to poo poo this great product? Sometimes people are negative just for the sake of being irritating.

There are no issues with wifi or cell reception for me, the case is exceptionally nice. F the haters
Same here. I ran field test 24/7 before I received this for a week without a case, naked. With the case on at the same places there were no significant degradation in reception. A variation of \- 1db in most cases.

Been using mine for a little under a week and I am quite impressed. It works as well as I could expect with my screen protector (Ice Max - I'm yet to find a case with a lip which doesn't make the protector lift in the upper corner so I'm sure that's an installation issue on my end), it doesn't interfere with my signal, and it's great to the touch. The white TPU became dirty in under 48 hours - wiping doesn't get rid of it but I can ignore it for now. My only gripe so far is that the trim on the TPU isn't perfect, but as that's a purely cosmetic issue, I think I can say I am overall pleased with it.

Maybe I don't understand but is there any white TPU or light colored TPU made by anyone that doesn't discolor when rubbed day in and day out in jeans or any other clothing with dye in them?

None that I have seen or used doesn't discolor. It's why I avoid white. Any moisture build up in pockets from jeans any color eventually transfers to white or light color TPU. I suppose if you don't pocket it, ever, then the white TPU won't discolor as quickly.

Very well made bumper. I bought a knock-off right after this was announced and it is crap compared to this one.

I have not noticed a drop in reception. There are gaps in the aluminum where the antennas are located. (The aluminum cases that completely encircle the phones do create problems with reception.)

I've read through all the complaints on kickstarter of the people who have received their units and unsatisfied.

From what it appears, one of the issues is the flimsy buttons rattling, and people suggestion to tape it. For a premium bumper as they claim, in my opinion, people shouldn't have to modify it to fix what shouldn't have occurred in the release.

Secondly, there are quite a very people complaining about the sagging beneath the home button. Anyone here with this issue?

Thirdly, it seems as though the tpu silicon is not properly aligned with the aluminum. Anyone with this issue?

People on kickstarter have suggested similar looking bumpers elsewhere. Aside from aliexpress, anyone know of similar bumpers on eBay or Amazon?

I don't know if you read it but pocketdoc just above you said :
"I bought a knock-off right after this was announced and it is crap compared to this one." I've read this else where also. There are many more kickstarter comments including my own that say their k11 is perfect or nearly so. In most cases it's only the dissatisfied that post something. Yes, some have flaws but since 5000 to 6000 were shipped the dozen or so complaints are expected. Even Apple gets many returns, sometimes several from one customer.

@HickDead The $40.00 price is great. Draco, Element and Devil case Charge more for a bumper. some well over $100.00.

Guys where can I order this bumper with shipping to Europe (Germany or Switzerland).
On their website it's only US/Canada :(

The cheap knock off sagged from the first time I put it on.

No sagging with K11 so far.

Don't believe everything that you read. Some people just cannot be satisfied

@rean_jem: Is that sagging underneath the home button?
Yes mine sags below the home button. It's especially noticeable from the back as it contrasts with the gold back. It's not rocket science on how to put on a bumper and so I believe this is not an error on my part that's why it's sagging. I also believe that any case should be able to withstand multiple removal to clean the phone from time to time. Btw the case hasn't been off the phone from application just to be clear so is not the reason for sagging.
My signal strength has been the same so that's a plus.

The intructions show and demonstration video show inserting the top of the phone first because the bottom is the most flexible. Other bumpers I have show the opposite because the bottom with all the holes is the most brittle and bendable (like Spigen bumpers). I don't pocket my phone so dust is minimal. Nerdy belt pouch I'm afraid.
