seems like it has too many viewers otherwise it must just be my computer or internet struggling... cuz every few min. the keynote freezes up
regardless, i'm getting a mac mini, booya :D

This feed freaking blows. I want to watch it so bad, but it simply will not get enough bandwidth to play. I hate it! I'm sure akamai could do better. Anyway, Its not downloadable untill you capture the whole thing (hard to do). BTW, macrumors sucks the bandwidth member as well.

Burn to DVD...

Does anyone know how I can download this? I want to burn it on a DVD and watch with friends.

1. Watch Keynote in QuickTime Pro. (or click save as in web browser and goto 3)

2. Save file to disk.

3. Import using iMovie

4. Click "Create iDVD project" in iDVD window

5. Burn DVD

6. Enjoy!

I tried this but because the file I Save As is just a link to the video I can't import it into iMovie. iMovie gives me an error.

dashboard doesn't have F12 anymore....booooooo

guys do you understand how many people are hitting the server....

I'm having no issues with the feed; maybe it's because I found the feed before it was posted on any Mac news sites. When someone saves the stream maybe they could create a .torrent and distribute the URL here on these forums?

I would, but I don't have Quicktime Pro.

But it is streamed so you can't download it. My solution:
1. Use Video Out to a device like Dazzle or EyeTV
2. Use Quicktime Pro to make it full screen
3. Record the Keynote using iMovie on a 2nd Mac

It's a royal pain but I looked into screen capture tools but they don't do well
with long movies.

It does so. Look at the Tiger web page.

The video looks much better this year. Like they had a little window introducing people. I do like live but this is ok :)

However it seems like Apple's streaming servers are overloaded and/or they don't have a lot of bandwidth.

Wow I really like the ichat like screen effects when Steve is showing demos. Back to video hehe :D

Password?

I try to watch the stream, but it keeps asking me for a username and password! Any thoughts?
