These punk a** kids have no morals. I hope they learn their lesson.

I would expect them to be put up on stage at morning assembly in front of the whole school and humiliated (part of that being given 6 of the best with the cane, oh UK doesn't do that anymore) Thats how it was done when I was a kid. Probably won't even put them up on stage these days because it will hurt their feelings.

The what now? More likely they'll be having a chat with the police today.

they read macrumours and got worried. Did no one make a copy? I bet youtube did and if police ask them for it = theyre screwed

Speculation on your part.

Sometimes I do despair at what a person finds it acceptable to do.

oh dear you really do like to argue don't you. Irony a joke, just a guess, a hunch, just for laughs ;)

and the first part was relating how things were when I was a kid. Dont think to much into it. The past is history. I was just sharing.

Kids are now bending iPhones in Apple Stores

Haha. A nice beating by their bully is good enough. JK

All jokes a aside. They need to learn how to respect other's property. Why are they concern of the bending issue anyways? Not one of those kids can afford an iPhone!

The video has been removed but I managed to download it beforehand. I will forward it to Apple and the police I think.

maybe it went like this

Dad gets to work. Checks Macrumours whilst drinking coffee. Computer gets covered in coffee. Home phone rings. Mother instills beating. Youtube video removed.

Poor parents :(

or more likely on the way to school some smarter kid on the bus said "you idiots you'll get arrested" = youtube video removed.

If people keep bending iPhones instore they will ruin the apple exepeeince due to changes in store security etc so this does need to be dealt with to send a message.

you should, stealing is horrible, but just bending these things for absolutely no reason?

theres kids in 3rd world countries that are starving, and these guys go about destroying $700+ devices?

I'm sure one of their more intelligent friends pointed out how stupid it was. The video was only put up 9 hours ago and it probably seemed a good idea at the time lol. Still they need to pay for what they have done. If they walked into a car dealership and deliberately scratched a car, they would have to pay for it and I expect the same here. :)

first rule - if you can't be good, don't get caught

Its been said many times but it appear people are so thick to understand. It bends but not on a normal day usage. Normal day usage does not involve purposelessly using force (until the body vain's almost burst) to deform it.

Eh come on, look at that kid - he's fat! the only strength he has is just enough for lifting a pizza slice off a plate, and bending an iphone obviously:D

he's applying a lot of force.

his fingers are all white and red and he needs several attempts and turns the phone around to bend it completely....

It costs more to sue these kids then to ignore it.

they are probably not well educated and on their way to chav town. their stupidity will fix it for themselves.

One thing that was interesting is how their vitriol reflected the child-like immaturity of many people who are jealous of Apple when they said something like "they deseverd it for making a product yadda yadda..."

Like they honestly got to a point where they honestly believed that and that sick mentality starts to warp reality.

Thats whats scary.

Its a scary illustration of human nature overall and how it reflects even in many adults.

Second of all I also thought it was funny how he kinda had a tough time bending the phone.

I think part of this is they have seen how many hits others have had and thought "hey, let's make our own bend video and monotenize it and make moneys!"

"Yeah boi l! We is gonna make some mad paper and be meelionairs. Dem girls is gonna luv out fat stacks"

But being as thick as they are they don't realise the difference between damaging something you own and criminal damage.

Does anybody know where this took place? I know its the UK, I'm from the UK but I'd be interested to know which Apple Store this was.

This took place in this Apple Store:

Apple Store, Chapelfield, Merchants Hall, Norwich, Norfolk NR2 1SH, United Kingdom

Good god, just looked at the reddit thread and they found the culprits from Norwich. The kid even posted it on his Facebook page and tagged his friend.

It's 9AM over there in UK, someone notify the newspaper.
