It's common sense buddy, come on. Nobody wants a notch cutting into thier display, anyone who says otherwise has major bias towards Apple. You need to step out of the Apple echo chamber that is mac rumours.

It’s not about wanting a notch it’s about wanting the best compromise regarding fitting electronics into the innards of a phone.

All have their compromises and no one does a full Face ID. The notch is just one compromise and allows iPhones to be distinguished in a field of phones that look like slabs. Kind of two for one.

because all the authorities have to do to get to your information is to put your phone directly in front of you. With the touch ID you have to physically touch your fingers to the sensor.
