This is pretty much the endgame in non-invasive AR technology. Now make the thing easy to put in and take out please.

May as well just say Apple will merge with KF-McDonalds and release these lenses alongside augmented reality eating.

Apple will finally be able to not only control of what we hear, see and say online, but control the reality too. No seriously, this won’t probably see the light of the day.

Kuo believes Apple's headset has the potential to provide an "immersive experience that is significantly better than existing VR products."

Hmmm... This Kuo guy seems suspicious. My crystal ball is showing that by 2025 the experience is going to be much, much worse than existing VR.

Another stupid rumor. Apple would never do this. One of the reasons the entire idea is stupid is because you have to stick this in your eye and there are a great deal of people who can't even wear contacts due to having astigmatism. This would be a niche product that only a few people who want to brag on social media for having until the honeymoon is over and they'll be thrown in someone's desk. It's easier, faster and safer to wear goggles.

In 1950's computers were the size of a Costco. Now I walk into a Costco with my iPhone on my belt which is thousands of times faster then those early mainframe computers. So anything is possible with technology. High speed bluetooth, body puts off electrical power which electronics could use. Super small micro video cameras, Ultra micro LED displays, headphones that smaller and smaller which fits inside your ear or bone conducting. Augmented glasses first, but most people don't want to wear glass or want to use when doing sports. Can you imagine the Olympics in 16 years where you will be able to see the athletes playing sports and seeing it from their view or they can get information back about how they are doing during the event!
If you can image it you can do it these days. The athletes will be able to tell what they did wrong instantly. One of thousands of possibilites. Military apps come to mind.
