Sure is a waste of time macrumors loves Ming kuo for some reason.A prediction about what Apple might release in the 30s is so absurdly pointless. I mean, really.
U sure about that? Seems very dumbDon’t forget the 2040s where injectables will be super hip. Apple will sell the iInject for .0000178172 bitcoin, and then they’ll lock off the inject store to just their approved injects.
"hey, look at this!
- hold on, I'm updating my eyes"
More than 10 years, articles said the 2030'sYou know you’re desperate for Rumors when you report stuff that “may happen” in 10 years.
How would you even power something like that and secondly not have it cause retinal cancer Etc? I’d be happy if I can use my phone/ watch for two days without a charge and they’re saying they’ll have a battery small enough to fit in contact lens to last a whole day? I call bullocks.
Hehehehehe...Kuo said there is "no visibility" for this product currently
I think he made this one up..aand just like that Kuo cemented the fact that I think their predictions are ridiculous.
There have been rumors and patents pointing to Apple researching VR or AR glasses, but not anything like AR contact lenses.
Furthermore, all contact lenses block off your eyes from breathing properly and cause dry eyes in most people to some extent. I’m pretty sure no tech company wants to touch all the medical issues that will ensure from wearing a plastic disc on your eyes for several hours a day.
And don’t tell me there’s also a ventilation system inside these lenses. There’s not contacts with displays and ventilation inside them in 2031.
Manufacturers across the industry are struggling to put out feasible, usable AR glasses that don’t weight several hundred grams in the next 5-10 years while keeping them in a price category and with a battery size that’s actually attractive.
Does nobody at Kuo wear contacts?
This is the main reason I stick to Android, at least I get to try new tech years before apple releases itA prediction about what Apple might release in the 30s is so absurdly pointless. I mean, really.
And how is that working out for you? This is the main reason I stick to Android, at least I get to try new tech years before apple releases it
