Where the heck is the OLED iPad???
Time to justify that big price hike.

I keep waiting for the oled or mini-led iPads.

Watching a movie in the dark with captions on makes the black levels go all over the place. So distracting. 😭😩

Any processor that goes in a MBP is eligible for a Mac Mini. The 9th gen core in the 16” MBP would work fine, and the updated Iris graphics would be welcomed as well.
Apple redesigned the mini to use the higher performing 65W desktop class CPUs. There’s really not much point to dropping back to the 45W parts that the 16” uses; better to wait for the 10th gen 65W parts.

btw the 45W H-series CPUs don’t have Iris graphics, they’re UHD 630 same as the 65W chips.

I'm not sure if that will be for the up-coming model (probably at an event in March). Maybe Apple are working on mini-LED for future iPad's. Ming-Chi Kuo hasn't mentioned that in yesterdays report, he just said an iPad Pro update, most rumours are saying the iPad Pro will get a new camera system and a spec bump.

I can definitely see Apple holding a March event for the following:

iPad Pro - spec bump and new camera system

iPhone SE update

13" MacBook Pro and MacBook Air with updated keys like the 16"

Apple branded headphones (which i think have the potential to be great, after all Apple's audio department are killing it just lately)

That would more than be enough for an event. Throw in some Apple TV+ mentions about new shows and Tim's usually talk and it would be enough.

I don’t know what’s up with Kuo and his iPad Pro predictions. In November he said 1H2020, in December he said 3Q2020 with A14X and mini-LED; now he’s back to 1H2020 but he left us hanging out to dry on specs. He’s all over the place 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if it's because Apple themselves haven't decided? maybe until the last minute? it would be a killer feature to have mini-LED technology on the new iPad Pro's, otherwise it sounds like it's going to be a small update (which is fine after the big redesign in October 2018).
However there could be a chance that Apple add mini-LED to the new iPad Pro's, they don't update them every year and IF they are announced at a March event it will have been around 17 months since the 2018 redesign, maybe enough time to include mini-LED?

Yes, the tags are so welcome. Tiles are too large and fragile for my wallet - swiped twice in two years. Bring them on.

All about Price... £50 each or £50 for 5.
If Apple make them dirt cheap ill stick one on all my kids stuff!

I'm not really sure, but
- A whole new camera array
- A new ToF sensor
- An all-new A13X chip with more power
- More battery life (see 2019 iPhones)
do not sound like a small update to me.

the camera is nice on the iPhone 11 Pro Max, I love it and use it to take photos all the time, however I wouldn't use any iPad for such a thing. ToF might be interesting depending on what it's able to do and how it's going to work.

A new A13X chip sounds great, however the current chip in the 2018 iPad Pro's is already a beast I'm not sure there are even apps out there that take advantage of the power.

More battery life would be great, I love the battery life on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, it easily gets me through my working day.

While these all sound great, I'm not so sure all these will happen in time for a March event. There was rumour of mini-LED but that seems to have died down as of late. I guess we will find out if there is a March event.

The "feature" that I am waiting for is the price drops for the 2018 models :D

Personally I’m waiting to see what Apple announce with this years update. I currently have a 2017 iPad Pro, I’m thinking of upgrading this year. Microsoft have me intrigued with the Surface Neo (due out holiday 2020) but I’m not sure it will replace my iPad Pro. If I upgrade I’ll give my 2017 iPad Pro to my mother (she currently has my old Air 2).

It’s going to depend on what’s announced, if it’s a big enough upgrade from my current 2017 iPad Pro then i will probably get one.

I am eagerly waiting for:

- Redesigned iMac, it is just dated now.
- AirTags, I would buy a dozen.
- Apple TV 5, not sure what I want here.

I would love an iMac redesign, I currently have the 2012 redesign. I don’t want to buy a current iMac in case a redesign happens soon. I’m holding out until there is a redesign, hopefully it’s soon!

It feels like Apple have forgot about the iMac, they seem to be more focused on the MacBook Pro’s. To be fair tho they did release a new redesigned Mac Pro and Pro display, so I guess there is some hope for an iMac redesign.

This is my jam. My rMPB is growing long in the tooth, but I really disliked the feel of the butterfly keyboard mech, stuck keys notwithstanding. I’m also actually like the TouchBar, especially now that there’ll be a physical Esc key.

I'm still rocking a 2012 air for my personal laptop, been holding on... and on... and on... just waiting for the new keyboards

I would love for them to release a new iPad Mini. I am wanting that sort of size for my intended use, but it hasn't been updated in a while. So *fingers crossed*

They did ship updated 2019 models - not entirely forgotten. The design is classic - shave the bezels and chin and add a few ports and it’s good to go.
