What do you mean? AW has always had wireless charging, since the very first model

During the keynote, when introducing AirPower they mentioned that you could wirelessly charge the AW3. I was under the impression this was an added form of charging, different from the prior form of charging. I guess I misunderstood.

Owner of a Series 2 Ceramic here, a year of HEAVY use and wearing without a single mark. Also, I'd look for a Series 2 if you want to be able to wear it for more than 18 hours at a time. I'd try a grey if they got the 3-4 days of use between charges my Series 2 gets (i.e. If they offered a non-LTE model). It isn't worth giving up 72 hours of use per charge to get an altimeter and an hour of talk with LTE on a watch when I'm never away from my phone anyway.

If you are never away from your phone, the cellular modem is never active and it has zero impact on battery life. But, it’s there if you want it / need it. There have been a few times lately where my 7+ ran out of battery, and I’ve only started to get over my “range anxiety” about that. I’m like, “Oh yeah, my watch has cellular too ...”. :D
