Please Apple Please...more...battery...life.
Larger display would also be nice.
Cellular roaming and dual sim functionality - Yes.
But who cares about faster WiFi? Seriously?!

I’d say 44 mm is plenty large for the majority, anything really larger, might look kind of comical on your wrist for a smart watch. But in terms of battery life, if Apple eventually introduces micro LED, that will alone improve the battery life, because it has a higher resolution/improved color gamut and has less PowerDraw than OLED does.

This logic is funny Lol.

I’m glad that I’m able to upgrade every year by just selling the previous model and having it totally cover the cost of the new model. Never have to worry about “the next one”.
Where are you selling your watch that people are paying the price of a new one for a year old one? I must not be looking in the right place. I usually have to put out $100-$150 extra to upgrade. I chose not to upgrade to the S5 for this reason. I haven't ever had always on, and don't see why I need it. But with a speed bump, better battery, better cellular next year, I can see being interested.

I get 25% off of Apple products through my company which enables me to get a little bit more money back than what I paid for the previous model. If I didn’t get that discount then yeah I’d also have to shell out an extra $100 or so, which still isn’t bad to have the latest and greatest.

Honestly... the “Always-On” is pretty cool. I really like having the display always showing. Never realized it was something I’d want.

I don’t need faster WiFi. I need faster Bluetooth or whatever protocol it’s talking with my phone when I’m outside. Using Siri at home is super responsive, but whenever I’m outside and no WiFi, the watch gets stuck at “waiting” forever.

A major redesign? Watches are offered either in circular or a square fashion, what do you consider a ‘major’ redesign? A triangle? 😁

I mean, they increased the display size. But I don’t think watches traditionally need to have a major redesign.
Knowing Apple though, they'll re-design just for the sake of re-design...everyone will want it...they'll sell millions...IT'S AN APPLE THING! 😉

So happy I didn’t buy the Series 5 yet. THIS is the one to wait for

I was actually thinking the opposite. I'm glad I have AOD now. Those other features I can live without.

Hated my Series 5. Battery life was absolutely terrible even with all the "tweaks" people used to get by. Went back to Apple.

My battery life was abysmal for several days when I got my S5. Now after upgrades it's performing the same as my S4 with AOD and raise to wake both on. I've got plenty of charge left when I put it on the charger at night.

Considering that a dive computer is a life-saving piece of equipment, I don’t think a lot of scuba divers will choose an Apple Watch for dives. I certainly won’t. Plus a decent dive computer costs half as much as a stainless steel Apple Watch. Of course it’s great to have good water resistance

You heard it here first: next Apple products will be faster than the current ones.
And poorer quality?

Fortunate you are lucky to find gullible people willing to buy your old used one for what it costs for the new one.

They have maintained the same basic design and full compatibility with the bands for five generations now. Your comment is frivolous.

All I can really ask for, is Apple doesn’t change the band port. Most of us have a small fortune with purchased bands, and as long as that stays in existence the way it is, I’m perfectly happy with that. Any other advancements with the Apple Watch is merely a bonus. I’d personally be pretty upset if Apple did change the band port, where my link bands (Which cost near $400) wouldn’t be compatible.

@DotCom2 was being facetious, you clearly missed that. But don’t put it past Apple that they couldn’t change the band port _if_ they wanted to, similar to how they removed other hardware components with other products over the years. For the sake of design/internal improvements, they wouldn’t let a band port prohibit the progression of the Apple Watch.

Not on my wrist. Now it looks comically small. Like a kid’s watch from cereal box. 8.5” wrist here. I need at least 46-48mm

Battery life needs to improve. We knew Dexcom was attempting to work with Apple to bring a direct from watch app to communicate via bluetooth to their transmitters. If it is still being explored, perhaps we can be hopeful that battery will be better. For something that frequently chats with bluetooth and updates information on the display will at the very least need improved battery in order to have the device work for over a day.
