Holding out for this one from my Series 2. Hopefully it features some design tweaks as well.
Yes but your Rolex looks good...I was saying the same thing about my Rolex. What a stale design.
Can I just get at least 2-3 days of battery life, please ?
Gotcha. That makes sense. I'm going to hold off on the 5 and not realize how much I've missed the AOD until I do finally upgrade.I get 25% off of Apple products through my company which enables me to get a little bit more money back than what I paid for the previous model. If I didn’t get that discount then yeah I’d also have to shell out an extra $100 or so, which still isn’t bad to have the latest and greatest.
Honestly... the “Always-On” is pretty cool. I really like having the display always showing. Never realized it was something I’d want.
Larger screen!!!When you say ‘design tweaks’, what do you mean by that? What are you indicating that they should tweak?
Even if Apple did improve water resistance to 100M that still isn’t worth using while scuba diving. Should get 200M for that.
S6 better have new health features plus better battery for cellular or not upgrading. Also bluetooth assist: don’t like waiting forever because my phone is just in range of my watch and it won’t switch to WiFi.
Except series 5 wasn’t faster than series 4, and there are other aspects to this report besides chip speed anyway. Do macrumors commenters ever get tired of posting the same dumb comments on every single Kuo article?Exactly. Thanks, Kuo!
Nope. Most MR rumors posters only make snide remarks and jokey-jokes for likes. If MR removed them the quality of posts might improve.Except series 5 wasn’t faster than series 4, and there are other aspects to this report besides chip speed anyway. Apple Watch needs:
—True Tone
—Bio authentication
—iPhone independence
—Sharper Retina display
Has the AW hit a plateau? What is the next thing...
No Typo, used my old AW2 for swimming thousands of laps and some ocean swims, never an issue.Typo??
I didn't think series 2 was rated for swimming.
Agreed 100% - Just upgraded from a S1 to a S5 last week, and I'm really loving the performance. With the S1 it was a pretty slow experience, with multi-second delays to do most things. The S5 is basically instantaneous to respond, and the slightly larger screen feels like a real step-up from the smaller S1 size.Does it though?
My S2 was just painful. The only thing it was good for was seeing messages/emails/notifications. That's about it. Anything beyond that was just too damn slow. Now, it's worth a damn. I can actually do stuff again. I can also leave my phone and just have my watch. Love that feature.
I did 150miles in the pool last year and nothing bad happened. Watch performs greatI wear mine in the shower almost daily. I know what you mean though. I refrain from wearing it in a pool/ocean.
