A shame they don't sell this in Europe.
I love my Studio Display — but my daughter needs a display that plays nice with both Mac and PC.
I'd say buy a decent 32" 4K display. I have no regrets switching from a 5K 27" 60hz to a 4K 32" 144hz. 3008x1692 equivalent res and everything looks great (LG 32GQ950-B). 60hz is so painful these days, too, and Apple's 5K displays are overpriced, and the older LG models just had too many issues (I had 3, and all had problems to some degree).

How long have you got this 32” and would you feel it similar to 5K 27”? Also quality to work and such as editing good? Do you have photo of it?

For me, it would be a no-go to switch from a Retina resolution to a non-Retina resolution. That would always be more important to me than having more Hz. But that's also why I'm waiting for a monitor with 220PPI, 32” & 120Hz or more.

BTW Merry X-Mas to all of you :)

I’ve been using 32” 4K for several years now. There’s no question that 27” 5K is sharper because of course it is. But when using the 4K 32” set to 3008x1692 it offers more real estate than the 2560x1440 equivalent on the 5K display, and still looks very good indeed. And I’m picky. I couldn’t go back to the 5K display. Size and refresh rate is leagues beyond, and sharpness is still very good, if not as good as the 5K.

I switched from 27" 5K to the equivalent of 27" 4K, and it's pretty decent. What I want is 30" 5K, but it doesn't exist.

FYI.. if you're not following the Kuycon G32P - 31.5″ 6K (6144×3456) IPS Black Monitor thread.

If you buy a Kuycon monitor from Clickclack.io and have it shipped to the UK, the final price you see at checkout is all you'll pay. The cost includes all necessary taxes, like VAT and import duty.

If you need to use the warranty for a repair, the monitor will be serviced in Poland, and Clickclack.io will cover the shipping costs.

To be clear I haven't ordered the G27P 5K monitor from Clickclack.io.

Another review of the Kuycon G27P on Youtube.

The reviewer mention a "backlight brightness evenness" (Screen Uniformity) problem.

Edit: The video sound is not very good

In my admittedly limited experience of lower priced but higher spec'd monitors, I've noticed a few things in general, often related to bad QA:

1. Uneven backlight brightness, usually with fall-off towards the edges and corners - vignetting
2. Backlight bleed
3. Poor viewing angles
4. Poor out-of-the-box colour accuracy
5. Crappy menu settings
6. Stuck pixels
7. Poor build quality

As I've said before, even if you get a monitor that is properly colour calibrated in the factory with no stuck pixels, often issues #1 and #2 can still make the monitor sub-par.
