If you're so sensitive about this (to be honest, I don't actually see what you're claiming in your photo), then you need to get a monitor with MiniLED backlighting or an OLED.
I have a Studio Display that is perfectly fine. I don't need perfect blacks. I just expect a panel that doesn't have a pronounced blue image in the corner and whites that are uneven.

Its sort of hard to photograph because phones naturally try to even out something light and don't capture the nuance. My wife walked into the room and asked 'why is it so blue in the corners?' with no prompting haha

One early adopter complained about the same thing with his LG 6K. One thing I've noticed with some of these panels is there can be a mild off-axis colour shift, which may be accentuated by vignetting / light fall-off at the edges.

I'm curious, what happens if you move your chair so that you're looking directly at the edge? Does it still look the same blue?

It's not about perfect black, it's about more even illumination. Either you spend more money on a different display technology, or your lottery game for a better-illuminated IPS panel continues.

I assumed this is what it'd be, but when I stare directly in to the corner (eye level to the corner, from 10 or 30 inches away) the corner of white has a blueish tinge that looks very different in terms of temperature to the middle.

Yeah maybe my expectations are too high but my 32 inch dell work monitor doesn't even do this.

Ouch. It does sound like you got a lemon then. And no, for this price point, your expectations are not too high. If it was $500, that'd be a different story.

Man, this monitor is terrible.
Really sorry to hear this. I know it’s no consolation but I don’t have the problems you describe. Would you not consider a replacement?

I had a different issue with my first unit and a replacement was sent out to me immediately. I had ordered directly from Kuycon via Alibaba.

Did you receive your new monitor on time?
Yes, it shipped the next day and I just got it today - a day late but that is FedEx's fault.

I just finished setting it up and it looks awesome. The build quality is good and the panel; looks great. I ran the LCD test and there are no dead or stuck pixels. There is minimal light bleed (inm the corners) and I don't find any colour shift at my normal viewing angles.

They should have included a manual though - it took me 15 minutes to find the power switch.

All in all, it looks like a great monitor. I hope it lasts for a long time.

Awesome! Glad to hear everything went well with the purchase process and the final result.

Your RTings Chroma pattern looks like my monitor (5K) when it is set to 10 bit YCbCr 4.2.2.
Is that what you expected (from how your settings are adjusted)?

I did not really have any expectations, nor have I consciously directed specific settings.

I have always observed what appear to be 4:2:2-like reps in the photos I have taken with my 13-Mini.

Coming from having only the M4 MBA connected to the G32P, I was surprised by the depth and clarity of the G32P display when connected to the M2 Studio.

Darker; richer; more life-like.

Subjective viewing is really nice.

I will only be able to truly (objectively) compare when I hook it to the Spark (and the AM5 Platform) :)

I can easily see the blue edges at the left. Yes, this is terrible. Thanks for warning people.
