It didn't look like a great advert of quality via youtube 1080p on a 4k monitor.
Grainy and motion wasn't great.
I do think that companies are being a bit misleading showing what can be done with a professional film crew and lighting.

Artist gets $$$, Apple gets to brag (knowing most consumers have no clue the camera is 1% of the final product): everybody wins.

But I wonder how much Apple pays for something like this. 🤔

Makes sense to do it for something like this with a huge greenscreen in the background and not really needing shallow depth of field. With enough artificial lighting, even a small sensor looks pretty good. Would like to see how they mounted it on the drone in the beginning :D.

The video was recorded in the actual desert. It's not a green screen

Rewrite the title:

Professional directors, professional editors, professional screen writers, professional art and set directors, professional prop managers, lighting professionals, professional director of photography, professional camera persons, professional camera assistants, professional sound mixers, professional chief lighting tech, professional lighting runner, profession key grip, professional VFX team goes hands-on with iPhone.

🙄

Ah, then it's probably the special effects in the background that are causing the greenscreen-like errors. They looked really bad, but logical considering they didn't use a green screen.

Just because it can, doesn’t mean it should be. It’s a gimmick. Let’s not try to compare the iPhone to a Red or professional camera with pro lenses.

Just those giant shiny rocks are composited in. Compositing on compressed footage is always a struggle. You usually start with the cleanest version of footage to achieve the best result. If you’re footage is already compressed, it’s a battle.

I hate how you can tell it was shot with a phone.e. because of the bitrate. All music videos shot with iPhone 11 look choppy.

Been a MINUTE since Gaga has released something along these lines. Will listen at lunch.

I'm impressed by the video I guess, but again, all modern phones shoot decently with tons of light thrown at them.

So many things make me question my sanity for asking this... but was this actually shot in Monument Valley? It throws me off every time they go left and right with the camera and you see more landscape.
