I'm using the first revision of the mStand and I bitched about the lack of space for opening the latch in a review. Seems like they got the hint.

That is a pretty sweet setup all around. I like how the setup works with the look of the desk and the scenery out the window. Nice.

To the OP, I use an iLap for home use and love it. Keeps the MBP nice and cool and I like the flexibility and comfort for both chair/bed use and desk use. Angles are good, stand is comfortable and is lightweight yet durable. I'm very happy with it, though admittedly I do not use it for travel.

Since I got the MBP hires 17" i dont need another stand and keyboard anymore. Cant use it either, because of the small letters. The icurve I used was too wobbly dor my taste, the new griffins elevator was better. Mstand seems not available here.
Because I hate the dropping cables behind my desk and because I wanted a free flow of air beneath my MBP, and above all because I had a nice bonus, I could order the x-base from Balmuda. Dont start about the price, but those are rEally good lokking!!!
