Found it have to pay $5 to $10 for premium wifi of 10 Mbps.

What a rip off.

5 Mbps is enough for 7 days.

I will just make sure to use it 24/7 or close so I can get my money's worth.

Going to try to use 50 GB a day sense that is the limit about in 24 hours you can do with 5 Mbps.

Should be pretty easy to do.

First time I went to Las Vegas was 1993, last time was 2009. It's a good tourist city and there's a lot to see. Hope your trip goes well and you get to see a lot.

It will be sense it is not until a few months from now.

Do you all think it is going to a walgreens, cvs, or walmart to buy some water for the hotel worth it ?

What are some of the best places to eat in Las Vegas ?

I figured out we are going to get Milk, water, snacks, etc for the hotel room.

It has a fridge if you request it.

I found out they have fiber internet in some hotels in las vegas! Can't wait!

Does anyone suggest using taxi, uber or lyft in las vegas ?

What about most of the hotels along the strip please do they have good wifi?

All I need is 5 Mbps to 10 Mbps to stream my 4k videos from home pc so I can use a lot!

You'll be in Vegas, why would you spend time streaming anything let alone your videos from home

Mainly to make my resort fees worth it.

Plus I won't be there anyway most of the time. I will just leave streaming on while I am gone to use 50 GB of data per a day.

Vegas used to have great value, but that is no longer the case if you stay on the Strip. The buffets were awesome. Are the buffets even open now?

1. The resort fees, which you may only learn about at check-in, can run $25 or more a day.

2. Parking, which used to be free, can add an additional $15 or more a day.

3. I removed the items from the mini-fridge so that I could fill it with cold items from my cooler. On checkout I received a $40 bill for the mini bar. Sensors were triggered indicating that the items had been removed and so I was charged for them.

Vegas has always been about money. I could avoid it in the past. No longer.

Shows are awesome, if they are running. If you are a gambler (I'm not) then all of the above wouldn't mean much.

If I had to choose between Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam I would go with Hoover if they are still running the tours. Since they built the new bridge the highway no longer goes over the dam. The twisty drive down the canyon to and across the dam is really nice as well. The Red Rocks outside vegas are nice as well. Taking the steam train to the Canyon from Arizona and back is also a kick, but that is a day trip by itself.

Yep it is all about the nickle and dime sadly :(

I knew most of this before booking but still good to know!

Hopefully there is no items in the fridge at our hotel but I am not counting on it.

Resort fees have gone up a lot btw.

Do you know the best way to get from Las Vegas to Phoenix, Arizona by chance?

What are they now? My last stay on the Strip was almost 4 years ago. I avoided the Strip for the reasons above when I drove through 2 years ago.

Since I like to drive, and enjoy the scenery, can't really advise on other options.

How is it going to make it worth it when you're not there to watch what you're streaming?

I wouldn’t stay anywhere but the strip though. In fact I’m not really sure where someone could stay other than the strip that would make much sense. Resort fees are no good but trying to avoid them by staying in an odd location may not be the best idea
