You seem oblivious to the fact you're not actually getting the use out of it. Great logic!
Depends.
If you like Pawn Stars you can visit their store. It’s a family friendly idea
Simple enough to check - see the coverage maps. Here's T-Mobile:

5G & 4G LTE Coverage Map: Check Your Cell Phone Service | T-Mobile
Explore our 5G and 4G LTE coverage map and check availability in your area!www.t-mobile.com
In that section of the country (after leaving Vegas) there are a lot of places where T-Mobile has no coverage.
Is that so you can leave your phone streaming in your pocket and make sure you use your data allowance while away from home? Be a shame to waste it.
WrongNo such thing as unlimited high speed data 4g lte on cellular/wireless provider
That is true but it does not always reflect what it says for T-Mobile or any other provider's network map coverage site.
Wrong
ExactlyYes. But all of those near areas which have no coverage is a warning that there may be problems. Obviously a report from a person who has been there would be best.
I don't need to link or provide a source. There are many carriers around the world that provide unlimited 4G/5G data. It's common knowledge and if you don't believe me, that's your problem. Use Google.link or source?

Exactly
If I am paying a resort fee it I want to get full use out of it.
For how long? Which hotel? Seems like a good price for the airfare. Is this cheap to go to Las Vegas nonstop flight and hotel in October on the strip ?
$244 per a person

You mentioned a price, I was curious how long a hotel stay, and ideally not a Motel 6.7 days why?
You mentioned a price, I was curious how long a hotel stay, and ideally not a Motel 6.From the East Coast to Vegas that sounds like a good deal, however I am not a Vegas person.
The hotel is on the strip.
In addition to the aggrevation of the extra fees, transportation is my #2 peeve about Vegas. If you use your car for transportation on the strip, you have to deal not only with traffic but with parking fees to the places you go. Not sure, but you might even have to pay again for parking at your hotel (?). Cabs are not cheap either, can easily be > $25.
They do have a monorail which runs at the back of the east side casinos. These properties are huge, so it can be 1500 feet to go from the strip to the monorail, and another 1500 feet to get back to the strip. That is over 1/2 of a mile, and a lot of time, just to move to one location. If you try to walk on the strip from one casino to the next it again is about 1500 feet each. Learned this the hard way while trying to get to a show. "That's only 5 casinos away". A direct line in the strip would make this a 1.5 mile walk. If you go through the casinos themselves, the way the make your serpentine through it is probably over 2 miles.
Did use a bus a couple of times, but not enough to say whether they are a worthwhile alternative.
