I’ve accidentally thought my battery was at 100% when charging and glancing at my phone.

I dont know why Apple just didn’t put back the number and percentage instead of the battery icon.

It’s literally very very bad design to go from a battery filled icon which indicates the level, to an option with a battery icon that doesn’t indicate the level.

This was the exact reason I didn’t use it. I didn’t like how it appeared full no matter what the number was. Maybe I will actually use it now.

I would do this but I have an Apple Watch and it won’t let me see the phones percentage on the Lock Screen, only the watch battery.
Go to edit your Lock Screen and long press on the battery widget. You should then get the option to change it to display the phone battery

Apple worked tirelessly, getting every bit of processing power out of the A15 and A16 chips to accomplish this heroic feat.
„Feature“ is coming to older phones as well. They using the processing power of older A chips as well 😅

What? Why? With the percentage shown... you can see at a glance what the battery level is... 100 is 100... 78 is 78... i mean really.... why?

There is a reason why stop signs are not black on white like all the other signs, but specifically white on red.

Counting down like some sort of drunk dyslexic to prove a point, doesn't make you look smart.

Is it only me that prefers just the percentage number without the changing graphic behind ?? Looks so much cleaner and easier to read, if I wanted the bar to go down I wouldn’t want the percentage number. Might be the only one with this opinion
You are not the only one. I like how it is implemented now as well.
