A downer in every group. For crying out loud, Apple normally does their maintanence in the wee morning, or late night...

Why can't it be a MacBook Pro update?

Australia down too.....

Looking forward to some midnight madness.

Being that today is the 5th anniversary of the iPod, maybe they are sneaking something in here.

Anyhow, hanging out for the C2D MBP's

:D

Drum rolls please.....

It seems this is it. Multiple rumour sites are pointing to this day as the update on MBP's chip. I hope this is not a practical joke by Apple by playing with Mac-heads through their organized web maintanance across their entire web stores.
If it is launched, would you think I can pick it up the updated MBP today at the Apple Store? I will be in Buffalo this afternoon and I can pick it up from Walden Galaria Mall.

Unfortunately, I doubt it. When the iMac had its silent update it was quite a few days after the web site update that any stores had the new models in.

shuffle

iPod Shuffle is confirmed.. =)

Don't think it is just the shuffle. Shuffle is already on the site, availability changes does not bring down the store.

They are changing / adding product most likely similar behaviour to the "It's Showtime" and "WWDC Keynote".

my bet is either C2D Macbooks or a new iPod for the top end.

:D
