A lot of people in this thread sure do love their pocket iPads! 😁
Waiting for the day you can hold the iPhone by the objective itself. Goodbye ring/grip holders! The camera hump is just getting ridiculous now
Pretty sure it's the other way around?!
Well, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra appears to have less of a camera bump, but then we are talking a phone 8.9 mm thick compared to the 7.85 mm thickness of the iPhone 14 Pro models. The camera hump is just getting ridiculous now
Heh, I don't find them to be that way. I like the built in stand and that my iPhone doesn't dieThey're ugly and bulky.
It is.Pretty sure it's the other way around?!
You can tell Apple don't have any real designers left now.
disgusting large bump for the 5th year straight.
Blame the independent designer that created the renders being shown, which never resembles the finished product. We won’t know the depth of the camera elements until the product actually comes out.The award for the ugliest phone of the year goes to iPhone 15 ... That camera bump is HIDEOUS!
Eh. I don't care. It's only $100 to replace a broken iPhone with AppleCare.Heh, I don't find them to be that way. I like the built in stand and that my iPhone doesn't die
when it hits the floordifferent strokes!
When its time to replace my 13 Mini, which I dearly love, I was hoping that the 15/16 Pro would be the same size screen but smaller bezels, so the leap in size isn't so jarring. That camera bump is just nutty too.I know I am in the minority, or else there wouldn't be this trend towards bigger and bigger phones, but I really love my 13 mini for that and news like this really make me a bit sad. Though Kudos for everyone being happy about it being larger by default.
No, they have the labels switched in the article. @arnso the iphone 15 pro has a smaller camera protrusion than the regular iphone 15?
I agree! I would like a thicker phone (i.e. mega battery) and no camera hump. The camera hump is just getting ridiculous now
Hold on to that 13 mini! I'll be doing the same!Have humans suddenly seen a growth spurt?
If this trend doesn’t reverse before my 13Mini dies, the I’ll be out of options to choose.
That would be $199 + $100 = $300 then, wouldn’t it?Eh. I don't care. It's only $100 to replace a broken iPhone with AppleCare.
wouldn't that be something? A flat phone, a little thicker, and side benefit of four day battery life. Thick would be the new thin. Samsung would scramble to produce the thickest most battery phone ever 😂Why can't they bring back the flat back with no camera bump design like in iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5s, SE 2016?
If they are going to make the camera bump that large, they should make the phone thicker so it will be a flat back just like in the old days...
