Have there been any leaks of colors? Anyone been tracking unusual orders of large quantities of pigments somewhere in the China supply chain?
I have questions like “ Will there be a gold iPhone Xs Plus?” Will all phones come in black bezels?”

Such a boring and tired design. It's a lifeless slab of glass. Which isn't even easy to grip. Need a design that you don't need to put a case on it just to hold the thing.
Whaaaa? You are severely in the minority here. Not to say your opinion is valued any less than the next person but almost everyone from personal interactions to professional outlets specifically heralded the design, materials and feel of this phone.

Any news about SE 2? Not everyone wants a flat-screen TV in a front pocket.

My gut feeling is that if it does come, it would be in the spring 2019. As it is Apple’s cheapest iPhone, they would probably be more interested in selling their more expensive lot first (the rumoured new X and X Plus first, then the new 6.1” LCD one).

In terms of its actual size in your pocket, would the 6.5 be larger than the 8 Plus? Because the 8 Plus is okay (just barely) but I definitely wouldn’t want to go any larger.

The notch doesn’t bother me at all. The only issue I have is that now there is no white bezel iPhone any longer but I do understand that it’s for aesthetic purposes.

Thank God.

Always had black iPhones because of the white bezels.

On my iPad, I think it's okay, but on the iPhone, it has too many black "holes".

Ya’ make ‘me really really thin so ya’ can’t grip them and they slip out of you’re hand really easy then shatter when they hit the ground...

Nice meme, last time I checked, the iPhone X is not thin.

If only Apple releases iPhone SE X. They might fit 4.7” screen on the SE body.

If they technically could, they probably would. However, a bigger screen would also benefit from a bigger battery and this is when smaller SE chassis pose a problem.

That’s what she said
Be careful with these types of comments. I posted the exact same one in a few days back for another article, it got removed and I got told off.

No one has had a go at the explanation of 6.1” Screen yet. I assume it will be 5.8” resolution? So everything will render slightly bigger? The original rumour were this iphone was designed for Chinese market, and they tend to have worst eye sight, hence bigger icon and fonts are better. But it is still only ~6% increase in size....... not very convincing.

How much better would the single lens camera be? Compared to iPhone 8, iPhone 7 and iPhone 6s Plus. All three model were using single camera lens.
Not sure about the resolution but the PPI will be the usual 324 from what I’ve read in many places.
I hope these leaks were wrong, we’re in 2018 and 324 sucks these days.

I just don't understand this "future" lineup. How about just to create three iPhones – Mini / Normal / Plus.

Mini: 5inch screen, SE dimensions, less ram, smaller battery, single lens camera, max 256gb storage = 649 / 749 dollars
Normal: like current X, better specs, max 512 gb storage 849 / 949 dollars
Plus: more ram than normal, bigger battery & screen – 999 / 1099 dollars

But all of those would have OLED screen, same processor, Face ID etc.

So for consumer it would be so simple to choose – the normal as the sweet spot, plus for those who want bigger screen & battery, the mini for those who want smaller and little cheaper phone. That lineup would make sense for me. When you are buying 700-1000 dollar phone, you usually don’t care about paying $100 less / more, you care about dimensions / screen / camera / battery (when you choose from the iPhone line). Of course it's always good to have budget phone (like the 8 this year), but having some budget new phone without oled / dual camera, that is trying to look like iPhone X... meh...

NO, no, no no, no!!! We do not want another "X" based looking phone. Apple needs to update the 8 Plus, keep the home button and add the freaking headphone jack back.
If you hold your breath until they do this, you're gonna turn blue.

Completely apart from whether or not the headphone jack is a good thing, it's never coming back.

Good, I still really want to be able to do this:
They should fix that by having two cameras, but putting them in the upper left and upper right corners of the back - wider stereoscopic imaging, better depth resolution, can take non-stereo pictures with either lens accidentally covered up, and it'll work like a built-in stand (raising the phone to a very gentle slope) when the uncased phone is "flat" on a table.
