Given Apple's attempts at "rose gold" I wouldn't be surprised if their attempt at a bronze or copper colour comes out to be more of a dirty brown.

Don't really have an issue with colors. I'm just hoping that they announce dual-sim.![]()
SIM cards are old tech, why Apple don't remove them and use virtual sim cards, this way if your iPhone gets stolen or lost nobody could remove the SIM card to avoid blocking the signal.
Another important thing to stop theft is to let people use their password to shutdown their iPhone and block the airplane mode or any other option if you don't unlock your phone.
With this things stealing and iPhone would be harder.

Excuse me? So carriers like AT&T can lock your eSIM? Hell no. I say NO to virtual SIM until provider locking is OUTLAWED worldwide. Until then, I’ll take a regular SIM slot anytime?SIM cards are old tech, why Apple don't remove them and use virtual sim cards, this way if your iPhone gets stolen or lost nobody could remove the SIM card to avoid blocking the signal.

Not really. Dual SIM technology is not something new. You don’t see Android phones having battery issues due to dual SIM. Android phones even support dual VoLTE now. With dual sim, battery life would be terrible considering the battery capacity.
Can anyone explain to me what a dual-SIM does for the average user?

You must be new here.Or we could just wait until tomorrow and see what Apple announces?
Well it would save me carrying two phones around. If you travel between countries and need local SIMs while still being contactable on your “home” SIM. I know about call forwarding but it would be expensive, and free (EU) roaming gets stopped after you’ve been away from your home country for a few weeks. A dual SIM phone is the only upgrade I’m interested in.Can anyone explain to me what a dual-SIM does for the average user?
I think they're building the base model for low price... and putting the nicer/more expensive features in the flagship phones... it's literally the purpose of that 3rd phone, it lacks features.
