I'd been a yearly upgrader since the 4S. I think this is the one I'm finally going to skip. The 6 has reached a level where I can't really complain much.
I was saying much the same on another post. Force touch, 2gig, 12mp camera - all nice, but my 6 is perfectly fine.

The only reason for me to upgrade (and may actually be the reason I do) is that my wife has a 5c. Upgrading her to my 6 and getting the 6s, is pretty much the only way that a new phone will enter the house this year.

I wonder if they'll make structural changes to reduce the chance of the iPhones bending, kind of like they dealt with antenna gate issue on the iPhone 4 and then refined the antenna on the iPhone 4S.

I can't blame you. I have the 5S so I held off upgrading (I normally go for every second phone) but I really wish I had upgraded - I've never seen so many people adopt a new model so quickly, I could tell the 6 is a fantastic phone.

The spec sheet will be the deciding factor on getting this phone or sticking with my 5.

So now to test the bend factor. Last year some people got a hold of spare parts and made a running iPhone 6 out of them. No one thought of testing it the way the public did, so get to it.

Let the "leaks" begin!

I don't really care about the design. But I just want a better camera and 2gb ram. Don't care too much about force touch.

Too bad there isn't an aluminum that's higher than 9000 for Apple to use. Then everyone could post

:p

I'm happy with the 6 and it took a bit to find one without any problems. But I'm an upgrade whore so I'll probably be spreading my wallet come September.

About time we got a physical leak, not just rumored specs. It seems that leaks for "regular" models happen around the spring while leaks for the "S" models happen around the summer, probably because people want to know about the new designs.

I'm thinking Apple will do enough with Force Touch that you will care about it. Hardware is nothing on its own, but when you add good software to utilize it ...

Force Touch & (likely) split screen multitasking - it looks like a worthwhile upgrade to me! Hopefully the optical image stabilization will be included on all phone sizes as well ...

Apples new thinking regards keeping things non-revolutionary anymore has it's advantages too. If you have a iPhone 6 already then get the 6S and be safe in the knowledge that there's a zero learning curve. Switch on. Transfer data. Carry on as before. They won't know you've just spent another £700 on a 'new' phone. But you will! A win/win result then. Back of the net!
