I might belive it if Engadget had it :D

Nah, there's another step between DVT and steady state production: PVT/ramp. The five engineering stages are: proto, EVT, DVT, PVT/ramp, steady state.

Not forgetting the sixth engineering stage, AVT - carried out some weeks after launch.

Antenna verification test? :p

Even if someone had their hands on an iPhone on verizon's network, why would we need pictures of the thing?

to all the haters (read: 12 year old kids that just came home from school), the 3GS looked almost identical to the 3G. This makes sense since the iPhone 4, a huge hardware revision was just released, the next version is likely to be mostly internal upgrades, like 3G > 3GS.

this is a sketchy leak, but it doesn't change the fact that steve will announce the verizon iphone in January and release it in later january or February

I give in.

There has been a lot of evidence (the most in a long time) for a Verizon iPhone. wouldn't be surprised if it came. However, wouldn't it screw up the product cycle for iPhones, or no?

nope it will be released 6 months after the iphone 4 was released on at&t. and 6 months before iphone 5 in launched

Guys! Look its a Verizon iPhone!!!!!!!!

iphone-4.jpg

Why isn't this on Page 2? Some obscure website that nobody has heard of has red-tinted photos of an iPhone 4? It must be a Verizon iPhone! ZOMG everybody FREAK OUT! Lol.

I just wish I had thought of this. I could have made a quick buck on some website hits by taking some crappy photos of my iPhone 4 with faked test images on the screen.

This isn't to say that there won't be a Verizon iPhone before too long. I just don't believe that this is legit in any way.

Since when is Macaulay Culkin into tech news?

There is nothing to prove that photo is one of a Verizon iPhone.

Macrumors should make a page 3 just for this crap. This doesn't even belong on page 2.

Is there any proof that this is a CMDA phone?
None whatsoever.

It's just a grainy picture of a handset with a screen that looks like engineering/diagnostic software. Of course, it could simply be a fake image cobbled in Photoshop or any other image editing package and copied to the handset's photo library.

are those photos being taken under a red verizon blanket? i'm so convinced verizon is getting the iphone that i don't even care anymore. NEXT.
