Trix are for kids. This is amazing news! Tim Cook is not playing games when it comes to PRIVACY and SECURITY.
Because the majority of the world was using facebook owned whatsapp until their recently privacy riddled update. People obviously want a single messaging platform that is secure from a company they can trust even if they aren't on iOS or OSX.What makes you think Android users would switch to using an Apple product just because Apple releases it ? Most Android user could not care less about iMessage or they would be using an iPhone.
Why would they release a differentiating product on competing products? This is the reason you are a consumer versus a business owner. You can't see the big picture.Complete Hyperbole! If Tim and Apple cared so much about security and privacy, they would release iMessage to Android and Windows.
Apple: "We care about your privacy and security...as long as your messaging other apple users and both of you continuing buying our products. When you message the other 85% of the world using Android, we don't care what happens to your private data and messages. Also we know you probably work at a place that uses windows and while you would love to iMessage from your computer securely and safely, this won't help us sell our failing Mac lineup so we won't bother releasing a windows client."
Why do you defend a company over a better messaging experiance for everyone? This is the reason you will never have true privacy and security on your iphone despite the marketing apple and tim like to spew out.Why would they release a differentiating product on competing products? This is the reason you are a consumer versus a business owner. You can't see the big picture.
It's funny you cherry picked that ones that worked for Google but leaves out their crappy attempt at everything else. Remember Google Plus, Motorola, Hangout?? These are just a few examples. It's not about being first but being correct. When Google does it works unlike Apple so much like Google Maps > Apple Maps, Google Assistant > Siri, etc.

Nice we didn’t even make it 5 comments without an apple loyalist forgetting all about the notification systemBut but but Android users have been saying iOS is copying their features.![]()
Right, Android has invented pretty much everything.Nice we didn’t even make it 5 comments without an apple loyalist forgetting all about the notification system
Who told you that? Pixels get it on day 1 and Samsung phones get 3 years of updatesOf course you got a buy a new phone do use the new software.![]()
Sick strawman bro I didn’t even say Android in my reply lmfao you guys are way too easyRight, Android has invented pretty much everything.![]()

Right. But but but Android users have been saying iOS is copying their features.![]()
Privacy is not a feature 😉Right.
Android creates the features; Apple copies them and limits their functionality but designs them better; Android steals the design.
Android comes out ahead.
Don’t bother lol it’s pretty clear certain replies weren’t submitted to spawn a conversationRight.

Google phones get updates for around 2 to 3 years IIRC. If I don't get And12 on my Pixel 4A, then I'll just get in on a new version of the OS when I get a new phone. No biggie. I've done it with 3 different Android phones in the past.Of course you got a buy a new phone do use the new software.![]()
Yet you spend time here versus living the high life on Android forums?Right.

This was in my Google News feed so I decided to check it out. I also wanted to see some the Kool aid drinkers' thoughts in the comments since you guys live in a different reality than the rest of us.Yet you spend time here versus living the high life on Android forums?
And so it has done in some cases, such as notifications as widgets where Android was ahead of the game for quite a while (and arguably still is). The two have been cross-pollenating for years now.But but but Android users have been saying iOS is copying their features.![]()
You do realize that Google scratched their original Android project and rebuilt it from scratch to mirror iOS when Steve unveiled iPhone? Them Xerox copiers have been running overtime ever since! This was in my Google News feed so I decided to check it out. Looks like Apple just copied Waze too so I'm glad they are proving my point.
Google is not afraid of failure unlike Apple. Different philosophies none of which are wrong. It's funny you cherry picked that ones that worked for Google but leaves out their crappy attempt at everything else. Remember Google Plus, Motorola, Hangout?? These are just a few examples.
