How is that any different to anything Ming has been saying for past 12 months? I read through the list and I dont find anything "new". ( Apart from the Game Controller which I still sort of doubt it happening)
the new iPad Air will be using the mini led screen, comes with full screen with no notch, not Face ID,but Touch ID under the screen
I’m wondering. Just a hypothetical...
Would this mean that future iPads may be able to run MacOS?
How would the ARM achitecture limit the Mac?But the ARM architecture may limit the Mac in many ways... Like the current programs been written in x86-x64 & even the BootCamp feature for those working with Windows-only programs...
Man, all i want is a refreshed macbook pro 13/14 so I can take advantage of a revised keyboard. I've been waiting to upgrade for years now but there is no way I'm going to give up and accept the disastrous butterfly keyboard version, especially with the high cost involved.
The 12" was never the Macbook you used for bootcamp or Parallels. But, yes, in the beginning, the App-support will be limited, however that should be a rather short period. I would expect less than 6 month for all major apps (Microsoft, Adobe,...). Also you can do x86 on ARM for low perfomance apps. So, minor tools don't need instant ARM support. But the ARM architecture may limit the Mac in many ways... kind of hard to keep the secrets anymore with more engineers and people working from home
So no airpower......strange

The price will probably be $899ARM based Macbook > chromebook, especially if the price is right. If it has office and adobe cc at launch it'll be a hit.

Programs developed using XCode have been 64bit processors independent for the last 2 years. They’ll run natively on ARM at full speed just like they do today on X64.
The number of users who need Windows through bootcamp or any virtualisation technology will be able to run WoA which from next month will include a Linux kernel like the X64 version.
When googling ARM powered Macs on the web, you find references to it going all the way back to 2014. You’ll also find more serious rumours setting the launch date in late 18, early 19.Didn’t we already have a macbook 12”. Model before they went ahead and upgrade the MacBook Air 2018 and dropped the MacBook 12” model? Why bring something back from the dead?
The iPad Air rumor seems very sketchy at best, unless this is the new iPad Pro max with larger screen that has been rumored. Under screen Touch ID and mini LED seems like way too high end tech to bother putting in a mid range 499 device which is where the iPad Air is currently placed in the lineup. Also Apple is all in with Face ID too so all this under screen Touch ID stuff seems like total nonsense especially with new iPhones 12 getting smaller notch.
I think the leaker got it wrong. I don't see Apple bringing back the "MacBook" line again. I see the MacBook Air getting the ARM processor next year.
When was the last time Apple killed a product name, only to bring it back in the future? I don't.

I don’t think Apple will release a regular gamepad considering they just let PlayStation and Xbox into the game. Unless it is related to VR somehow maybe
