If these take coin cell batteries I will freak. TrackR and Tile have been making coin cell trackers since 2012.. And... they.. die... constantly... And finding a battery is a nightmare anymore. What reason does Apple need to make a tracker that brings anything new to the table that the others don’t? What about Apple trackers that are rechargeable via an Apple Watch charging puck? A coil of copper is sooooo expensive and difficult to integrate... said no one. And hey?! You can jack up the price too! To 130! And guess what? I’ll buy one! But only if they are rechargeable. End of story

My interest in this is also fading. Might stick one on my drone. I had my first emergency landing the other day and had to find where it parked itself. GPS isn’t very precise when there is battery failure. I think I had a bad cell. Can’t think of much else.

Yep they have to be rechargeable to be worthwhile, hopefully just via Qi rather than the watch charger specifically.

Take my money already! I have 4 Tiles that have dead batteries because I haven’t replaced them until I see what Apple comes up with.

I have a Tile attached to each of my Apple TV remotes, another in my wallet, and one on my keychain. My keys and wallet have been home (with me) most of these last 12-13 months. But I can’t tell you how many times I used to use the beep to find my remotes.

Hoping Apple will sell multiples in a bundle at a discount, even 10% off for 6 would be nice.

I’ve penned an email to proton vpn asking if their current app masks Bluetooth location and if not, that I would be willing to subscribe to such a service!

I wonder if it's going to be the price of the trackers *only* or a monthly subscription price in addition?

I’m glad these came in at $10 less than speculated, also $25 less if getting the 4pk. I’ll likely be getting that and split them between myself and my partner.
