I have an XDR and 27" Thunderbolt Display on my 16" MBP. On my Mac mini M1 I have an Apple 30" Cinema Display. I would love to swap out the 27" and 30" displays for XDRs, but I can't justify the cost so a solid Apple 27" 5K would be a nice middle ground. The LG ones just look cheap and flimsy.

Well, you have no idea what you're talking about, so...
Interesting take. What part is factually incorrect?

£200? Looks about right for the 64 GB model on apple.co.uk to me.

Four years? September 2017 is close enough for me.

@Harrycooke having opinions about how to spend money? I would expect he knows what he believes better than you do.

What if a new Apple TV introduced this month supports 8K? What if it comes with a remote that is actually useful and fun to use? What if it finally gets Gbit Ethernet? Wifi 6? What if it is practically built into a HomePod, or at least supports Siri without using the remote? What if it supports a Switch Pro Controller, and Apple has licensed Nintendo's entire catalog for Apple Arcade? What if it includes a VR headset? What if it doubles as a galaxy light? What if it includes a toaster? Who knows. Even if it is "only" a faster chip, is it so unfathomable that there could exist Apple TV apps (games or otherwise) in four years that will run great on an A14, but not at all on an A10X?

I would personally not spend a single dollar on an Apple TV 4K unless I desperately needed it immediately, without first seeing what is released this year.

I think a quote from Steve Jobs comes handy: "If you don't cannibalise your own sales, someone else will".

MacBooks are not getting touch screens. Ever. Touch screens on laptops are used until your arms hurt, and then not her again. And tell my wife about giving up her iPad for a laptop. You know how much she cares for a more powerful processor? Nothing.
🎶And I eat cannibals, it’s incredible. Because they’re so edible to me. I eat cannibals 🎶

Curious what a new ATV would offer beyond a speed bump and (hopefully, and likely as it is so reviled) a new remote.

8k? HDMI 2.2?

HomePod Siri tech would be a great improvement. (As in microphone hardware, not crappy command parsing and execution.)

Half the time my query is no longer relevant by the time I find the remote, handle it carefully so I don't accidentally push, tap or swipe the wrong part of it, and activate Siri.

I was hoping for a new Mac Mini. Wanting to replace my old one that got stolen, but I want one with slim bezels like my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2020. Looks like that will not be happening.

Damn, I was really hoping for new iMacs this month. I guess there’s always literally tomorrow... which is the last Tuesday of Q1, which would maximize their Q2 profits! But I imagine WWDC is more of the play here, huh...
