Proven leaker known as "L0vetodream" has today shared a range of information about the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6, charging features, and product release dates.

Apple-Watch-Event-2020-2.jpg

In a series of tweets teased earlier today, the leaker explained that the Apple Watch Series 6 would come in a new, unspecified color.

The iPhone 12 has been repeatedly rumored by a variety of reliable sources to be arriving in a new blue color. In what may be a mere coincidence, Apple is also using an all-blue color scheme for its Tuesday event. Although the leaker does not say what new color is coming to the Apple Watch, it seems likely that it will be blue to match the new iPhone 12 models.

The leaker's other information was far more ambiguous, stating that an unspecified Apple product will have fast-charging functionality. Considering that WatchOS 7 has new sleep-tracking capabilities, thereby reducing the amount of time the watch is available to charge, and the other leaked color information for the Apple Watch Series 6, it would make sense for fast-charging to come to the new Apple Watches.

A further tweet suggested that new Apple devices will be available from Tuesday, September 15; the same day as the Apple event. Again, this may refer to the Apple Watch Series 6 or perhaps other devices likely to be unveiled during the event, such as the iPad Air 4.

While Apple often leaves a gap between the initial announcement, pre-order, and release, it occasionally makes products available to purchase on the day of the announcement. Whatever the exact devices the tweet is referring to may be, the leaker alleges that they will be available to order on Tuesday.

The leaker also said that a new device will be arriving for $569 to $599. This approximate price range probably corresponds to the upcoming iPad Air 4, which is also expected to be announced next week.

Earlier this month, L0vetodream said that there will be "no watch this month," but this seems unlikely given the large number of reports that Tuesday's event will focus on new Apple Watch and iPad models. This makes it even more difficult to decrypt the exact meaning behind the leaker's tweets and determine which products they are referring to.

Apple's fall event takes place on Tuesday, and will likely see a range of new product reveals, such as the Apple Watch Series 6, iPad Air 4, and possibly more.

Maybe they sell the iPad Air/iPad on September 15, but I'd be surprised if the watch didn't have a pre-order window first.

The other 2 aren't really surprising. Fast charging should come to the watch by now if they can't improve battery life, and new colors happen all the time.

He baited fake leakers or "actors" by tweeting that to see who would change their predictions. He admitted somewhere that he did it to troll the actors.

If anything is available day one, its the Air Tags. Easier to make, on the drawing board forever, easy to stock (not many or any options?).

A new apple watch is released on 15th of September with an old apple watch os 6? Or ios 14 is going to be released on the same day with apple watch series 6 is released with watch os 7. Has apple released a new ios without a new iphone before? Or iphone 12 is also going to be released with the new watch?

This honestly makes total sense to me. A nice blue color to go with the alleged new dark-blue iPhone color. And listen—I know it’s ridiculous, but—I am one of the ppl who looks hardcore into the logos for the events. “WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!?” With this in mind, and the “Time Flies” title (which I mean, that’s just making it obvious for everyone), a lovely blue option is exciting to me. Wonder if they’ll manage it on a stainless steel finish though (the only kind of Watch I’ve ever bought)…

i just want some new watch faces! C’mon third party watch faces!
It aint gone happen Bobby…Ive’s and Newsom’s influence on this product was too strong, and even if Ive has his own design company now, I’m sure one of the MAIN things he consults Apple on is the Watch. Third-party watch faces are gonna stray way too easily into this product not looking the way Apple intended. Unless they put some HEAVY restrictions on them, in which case, people will say “these don’t even feel custom!”

I truly believe the closest they’ll ever come to it is the Photo watch face—unless, some years down the line, they think of something brilliant that allows for more third-party customization while keeping the Watch’s aesthetic in line. (Hey, they’ve had that kinda revelation with products before, maybe they’ll do it again!)

P.S.—I would really like some more of the original Watch faces to be more well-fit to the 40/44mm screens. THAT is what I’ve been waiting for since the day I bought my Series 4. Maybe since they won’t be selling the Series 3 first-party anymore, it’ll finally happen…!
