mill be upgrading from my series 0. I know always on display was what I was waiting for and I when it came I said might as well wait one more year. Well Its been one year and now I’m finished waiting. But now I’m unsure what size to get. I don’t know if the 40 will be too much smaller or if the 44 will be too big. I have small hands and thin wrist for a dude. I might get myself and my wife the same size cuz then we can share bands cuz I’m cheap that way.
but not sure. Ugh
Just here to say as another guy who’s in your exact situation re: small hands and thin wrists, 40mm will be perfect for you! Just looks like a regular ol’ watch with a surprisingly more immersive display for only 2mm of increased display size.

My Fitbit goes a week between battery charges so it's not difficult. I can use my Fitbit at night to monitor sleep so how does that work for the Apple Watch?

You could put it on the charger when you shower. I used to do that to monitor my sleep, but then I couldn't figure out why I was monitoring my sleep (I can figure out if I'm tired without looking at an app).

Right now, it's a week's battery or a weak battery. Which would you rather have?

I'm not wearing it with a battery 7 times the size of the current battery. You do understand that the Apple Watch does a LOT more than fitness???

When do you charge your fitbit? Obviously you need to schedule some time for that inconvenience.

I can figure out my pulse and heart rate manually but there you go. Fitbit is great for monitoring sleep cycles. Apple Watch not so much.

That's a pretty lame excuse. Apple could easily improve battery time by making it more efficient. Less jazz and more sass. You know, a watch which lasts 18 hours really is a joke and that is ignoring the outliers who think 30 hours is a triumph of engineering. It's really not as it's junk.

When I am cutting the grass every 10 days. 1 hour and boom.

That I don't want the battery 7 times the size to last 7 times as long? No, that's pretty practical. And if you want to use it overnight, it probably needs to be 10 times the size. NO thank you...

If you think it's a "watch" then you're kidding yourself. That's like saying the iPhone is a "phone", I use it so little to make phone calls it's not even funny; much more useful as a camera, or computer, web browser, music player, GPS, white noise machine, or hotspot for my actual computer/Kindle/tablet. I use the "watch" as more of an extension of the iPhone than I do for time or fitness.

Are you kidding?!? and miss out on counting those calories and steps!?! :p

This is the limited thinking of consumers who don't understand electronic progression.
I think YOUR thinking is limited if you expected a huge jump in battery for the series 6. It’s not rocket physics. The progress with battery endurance in phones, tablets etc. has been quite slow the last couple years. Also, your comment does contribute how except belittling another user? I at least stated my opinion based on my observations. Try harder next time.
