That’s what everyone has been saying. IPhones will be present like every year in September with a delayed release.
Are you getting a new watch, too or just the iPhone? My husband is probably getting the 12 Pro Max. I already got an SE a few months ago so I’m more excited about the watches this time. But of course I am curious about the new look for the phones, too. I hope we do get to see them on Tuesday.

Meanwhile..

1d14h to go, HURRRRYYYY UP!!!

At least we have the LG wing phone event to look forward to overnight. 🙄🤦‍♂️🤮
What are they announcing?

Bring back the ceramic grey please. And add another ceramic color like Product Red.

I agree, I think the white ceramic is just way too stark for my liking, the gray has a really unique ‘milky tone‘ to it, but I’ve been a stainless owner since it’s inception, but if they do release the gray ceramic with upgraded features that offer some battery efficiency improvements, I’d definitely consider upgrading.

Hopefully they'll remove the NEED to pair these with an iPhone when an iPad can do the same job. I want another Apple Watch, but much prefer the camera on my Pixel device.

What more could S6 offer over S5 other than blood oxygen? Some design changes?

Proven leaker known as "L0vetodream" has today shared a range of information about the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6, charging features, and product release dates.

Apple-Watch-Event-2020-2.jpg

In a series of tweets teased earlier today, the leaker explained that the Apple Watch Series 6 would come in a new, unspecified color.

The iPhone 12 has been repeatedly rumored by a variety of reliable sources to be arriving in a new blue color. In what may be a mere coincidence, Apple is also using an all-blue color scheme for its Tuesday event. Although the leaker does not say what new color is coming to the Apple Watch, it seems likely that it will be blue to match the new iPhone 12 models.

The leaker's other information was far more ambiguous, stating that an unspecified Apple product will have fast-charging functionality. Considering that WatchOS 7 has new sleep-tracking capabilities, thereby reducing the amount of time the watch is available to charge, and the other leaked color information for the Apple Watch Series 6, it would make sense for fast-charging to come to the new Apple Watches.

A further tweet suggested that new Apple devices will be available from Tuesday, September 15; the same day as the Apple event. Again, this may refer to the Apple Watch Series 6 or perhaps other devices likely to be unveiled during the event, such as the iPad Air 4.

While Apple often leaves a gap between the initial announcement, pre-order, and release, it occasionally makes products available to purchase on the day of the announcement. Whatever the exact devices the tweet is referring to may be, the leaker alleges that they will be available to order on Tuesday.

The leaker also said that a new device will be arriving for $569 to $599. This approximate price range probably corresponds to the upcoming iPad Air 4, which is also expected to be announced next week.

Earlier this month, L0vetodream said that there will be "no watch this month," but this seems unlikely given the large number of reports that Tuesday's event will focus on new Apple Watch and iPad models. This makes it even more difficult to decrypt the exact meaning behind the leaker's tweets and determine which products they are referring to.

Apple's fall event takes place on Tuesday, and will likely see a range of new product reveals, such as the Apple Watch Series 6, iPad Air 4, and possibly more.

can’t wait. My Apple Watch series 3 is really Starting to feel outdated

iWatch needs to be thinner and needs a week long battery life. Until then I wouldn’t even touch one.

Do YOU know how to make batteries more energy dense? Because everyone from electric car manufacturers to computers to battery powered hand tools to cameras and phones would be willing to make you the richest man on earth for that information.

Battery improvements have been steady but not dramatic on a year to year basis. And power demands on those batteries grow with each new model as new features are added. So if you know how to formulate a 7 day battery at a cost people can afford quit holding out and sell it to someone or start making them yourself.

My Fitbit goes a week between battery charges so it's not difficult. I can use my Fitbit at night to monitor sleep so how does that work for the Apple Watch?

Right now, it's a week's battery or a weak battery. Which would you rather have?
Does your Fitbit show texts and emails? How about hooking into your music library as well as accessing Spotify or Apple Music? Can you answer phone calls, get turn by turn driving directions? Can you view security cameras on your Fitbit screen?

Single purpose or limited functionality range devices have always had a better battery life, dating back to transistor radios in the 1960’s. If you are happy with the limits use the Fitbit.

I know that it won’t likely be the Midnight Green this year, but I’d wear the ***** out of a green watch.

Blue, not so much for me.

Sorry, but if it’s a green watch then it’s mine. Any other color and you can go first, but the green belongs to me.

“Devices Available from September 15th”

Uh... are they still going to be available from the Apple Store directly?

Not in the only Apple Store near me. They haven’t re-opened it since it closed last March, and probably won’t reopen this year. Best Buy or online are probably my only choices in Eastern Nebraska.

It aint gone happen Bobby…Ive’s and Newsom’s influence on this product was too strong, and even if Ive has his own design company now, I’m sure one of the MAIN things he consults Apple on is the Watch. Third-party watch faces are gonna stray way too easily into this product not looking the way Apple intended. Unless they put some HEAVY restrictions on them, in which case, people will say “these don’t even feel custom!”

I truly believe the closest they’ll ever come to it is the Photo watch face—unless, some years down the line, they think of something brilliant that allows for more third-party customization while keeping the Watch’s aesthetic in line. (Hey, they’ve had that kinda revelation with products before, maybe they’ll do it again!)

P.S.—I would really like some more of the original Watch faces to be more well-fit to the 40/44mm screens. THAT is what I’ve been waiting for since the day I bought my Series 4. Maybe since they won’t be selling the Series 3 first-party anymore, it’ll finally happen…!

mill be upgrading from my series 0. I know always on display was what I was waiting for and I when it came I said might as well wait one more year. Well Its been one year and now I’m finished waiting. But now I’m unsure what size to get. I don’t know if the 40 will be too much smaller or if the 44 will be too big. I have small hands and thin wrist for a dude. I might get myself and my wife the same size cuz then we can share bands cuz I’m cheap that way.
but not sure. Ugh

I wouldn’t describe my wrist as large, and I have a 44 mm. It’s a series 4. I wouldn’t get the smaller size myself because widget size is a factor for my poor eyesight.
