[doublepost=1549638511][/doublepost]I went to my Mujjo with sandpaper and coconut oil. Don’t be frightened to be aggressive with the sandpaper either. Looks great now and will repeat the process in a month or soAnyone have the Mujjo case for the XR? I've had it for about a month, and it shows virtually NO wear or oil absorbed. Was hoping to have it naturally patina, like the Apple saddle brown I had for my old iPhone 6, but it's looking like I may need to take some sandpaper and oil to it to help it along... Would be interested to hear anyone's thoughts...
Forrest green is my fav still. I killed mine and went with SB but will most likely get FG again, so nice!!3 months in, and my case hasn’t changed much. Forest green seems to hold up pretty well. I also picked up a matching leather loop watch band.

Wow, that’s so much patina it looks almost black!! NiceFinally retiring my iPhone 7+. 2 years 4 months with this case. Looking a little rough lol
Edit: This was the saddle brown color.
I’ve had mine for about 6 months now, that’s the product red leather case, I really like how it has been aging
That looks really nice! How long did it take for it to start building some patina. I just purchased a Product Red for my iPhone XS MaxI’ve had mine for about 6 months now, that’s the product red leather case, I really like how it has been aging
I’m a huge fan of the Product Red patinas now. Is this just from normal use?Product Red leather case for my iPhone XS Max. Purchased in the first week of November...so about two months.

i’ve used a little bit of leather oil on it a few times a week since i got it.
I’ve done it a few times. I scratched it up yesterday. Now I have random spots that are darker than others which I hate. Coworker of mine told me the scratching idea and his case is perfectly even. Heres mine... After a few days you can’t see the scratch marks at all. I see some of your pictures and wish my phone was more even.

Just use it.View attachment 821580 Any tips on how to develop some good patina on Product Red? Just got mine today while I am fan of the bright red, I would much rather have it be darker like the folio case
[doublepost=1550158837][/doublepost]Makes sense, hopefully it patinas quick lolJust use it.
You start sanding it and slapping oils and lotions all over it, it's no longer patina. It's stained.

Any particular conditioner you’d recommendYou can add some leather conditioner to it to darken it a bit. Its gives the leather cases more of a grip too.

Yeah patience is key I guess, I just really wish Apple would offer a darker red option almost like a burgundy, but oh I guess I’ll just use it over time and watching it change over timeI wouldn’t use anything. It can ruin the case, make it sticky.
I like it! I've been tempted to get SB because I think it looks spectacular with the silver XS but something in the back of my mind wouldn't let me and I went for my usual safe Midnight Blue. Two months of daily usage without taking care where to put the phone. I like it but I hope it does not get too worn in a few months
