Today I got the Ryan London leather case in black for the 14 Pro. My first impressions are really good, the leather smells nice, the color is black (not some wierd blue tint like Apple case). The buttons are solid and clicky, and I really like the open bottom for easy swiping. The magnet is strong, but the camera bump is bigger than on the official one, and the MagSafe wallet barely fits.

Today I got the Ryan London leather case in black for the 14 Pro. My first impressions are really good, the leather smells nice, the color is black (not some wierd blue tint like Apple case). That looks good. I was debating about ordering the black leather from RL as I am already using the Andar and have a case from BS on order.

Did you use any leather conditioner on your case? I just bought a golden brown case for my mini and I hope mine turns out as well as yours!

I gotta say my favorite color combination now I think is the Ink leather case on the purple 14.

I just don’t trust Apple’s browns anymore. Golden Brown was a joke and wore horribly and this new Umber is nicer but ultimately doesn’t look that great in my opinion. Give me a high quality Saddle Brown or just don’t even bother. Black case on a black phone is just too boring with nothing to look forward to in terms of wear.

I actually can't stand the patina look. My 12 PM baltic blue leather case just has some slight darkening around the edges after 2 years. I've got the midnight for my 14 PM. I'm hoping with it being darker, any darkening won't even be noticeable and it will look nice and new forever.

Just grabbed the Lonli Edition for my iPhone 14 Pro.
I paid ~$23, but it's on Amazon now for about ~$21. I figured it was cheap enough to give it a shot without being out too much.

I get a nice little snap on all 4 corners, and the case fits TIGHT. It definitely feels way more protective than the official Apple leather case (the bottom corners of my phone pop out of the Apple cases way too easily). The magnets in it are also pretty strong.

They say it's "made of premium European full grain leather", but it's coated with something that has a rubbery/plastic feel. I guess it's supposed to protect the material, but it makes it really slippery, unfortunately.

I did some research on these cases and that was the consensus I saw--the treatment on the leather makes it feel rubbery and prevents significant patina from developing. Almost sounds like if you want the feel of silicone but the material is actually leather.

I caught a scratch or two on my Andar stone grey. A quick rub combined with the natural oils of fingers and the scratch disappeared, leaving behind barely noticeable battle scars. Fits very well into the overall patina of the quality leather.

Am interested to know how the apple cases combat the nicks and bangs so far…

Here are a few more pics of the leather quality. It also fits perfectly on the phone while I’m not the biggest fan of the open bottom I do love how it camera cutout is leather rather than plastic rings or metal rings. Buttons are perfect. Aside from the Apple Ink leather case this might be my favorite. It feels identical to the BullStrap cases as you’d expect. Hands the best leather out there right now.

I really like the look of their black or dark brown ones but as an Apple ink lover it’s a tough call whether to buy one! I just know the quality will be so much better than Apple’s.

Slightly thicker than apples I do not use MagSafe accessories because I do not like the imprint they leave. So can’t help you there.
