View attachment 2094997 Here are a few more pics of the leather quality. It also fits perfectly on the phone while I’m not the biggest fan of the open bottom I do love how it camera cutout is leather rather than plastic rings or metal rings. Buttons are perfect. Aside from the Apple Ink leather case this might be my favorite. It feels identical to the BullStrap cases as you’d expect. Hands the best leather out there right now. I have a black RL case for my 13P. The only thing I don't like about it is the corners are wrinkled and feel rough rather than smooth like the rest of the case. Looks like your corners are wrinkled too, but not as bad.

Maybe this is what Bullstrap is trying to work out? The guy says they had to have the manufacturer work out some kinks in the rolling process.

I actually like the wrinkles makes it look more natural. When leather looks too perfect I feel like it takes away from the authenticity of a full grain leather product, but to each their own.

Purple 14P w/ Orange leather case, case is 3 weeks old, not as vibrant as before, hopefully it will turn darker in a few months
the only other orange case ive seen on here  stopped by the apple store today and surprisingly my launch one hasn't darkened much when compared to the ones on display in store.

Agreed here. It also smooths out over time.

Well this is an interesting turn of events. Got home and grabbed the mail to find this:

I can’t imagine they’d want me to ship the extra back so I imagine I’ll have a spare unless I run into someone with a 14PM looking for some black leather.

Unless it’s not black at alllll

I actually can't stand the patina look. My 12 PM baltic blue leather case just has some slight darkening around the edges after 2 years. I've got the midnight for my 14 PM. I'm hoping with it being darker, any darkening won't even be noticeable and it will look nice and new forever.
Get ready to be disappointed, midnight turned into a smudge sticky mess after a year lol

Well, I’m returning my Andar. It’s a beautiful case but the lips are raised to the point where I have issues with swiping. It’s a shame but usability has to come first. Is the Apple leather case easier to swipe with?
I haven’t had a chance to return this yet and after getting very comfortable with the Synthesis I decided to give the Andar case a more extended trial. I’ve found that over time my fingers have adjusted for the taller lip and swiping isn’t really an issue anymore. The leather feels magnificent in the hand the look of the gray is so unique. Even though I had filled out a return request for this case, I’m thinking I might actually run it as my main instead.

As great as the Synthesis is—and it is great—the hard plastic cannot compare to the feel of leather in the hand, and the Andar is even lighter and slimmer so the phone feels lighter too, always a plus for me. And there is no comparison when it comes to looks.

Just goes to show first impressions aren’t everything.

Well that’s me not sending my Ink back in exchange for a Ryan London or Andar Navy (when available).

Dropped my phone on concrete this morning and it’s scuffed the corner. Frustrating

That would be nice if they sent you 2 different colors

At least the scuff is not on the phone. How bad is the scuff? What model?

To be fair, it’s ‘healing’ as such already so not too bad.

There was a conversation on here a couple of weeks back about the apple leather being so poor that it doing have the properties to ‘heal’ scuffs etc naturally like better quality leathers do but this most definitely does.

Given it a bit of a run to smooth it back down and it’s hardly noticeable already

What leather creams do y’all use? I read up on it a bit and saw a lot of them have chemicals that can be harmful to the leather over time. One resource I found recommend using straight beef tallow. Some resources said coconut oil was good, others said not so good.

Chamberlains.

Yeah I prefer the open bottom. Just smooth steel and a thin strip of leather resting on my finger.
And would you say it’s slightly thicker than Apple’s like the other user said?

You’re favouring this over your ink?

Trying to tell myself I don’t need to spend another £45 on a case but these pics are making it hard

Absolutely. The ink was starting to get that tacky Apple leather feel. I ended up on Bullstrap last year and this is my endgame case without the fluff in between. It’s also half the price and delivered within a week versus wherever Bullstrap is at this point.

Edited for a word.
