If you can stomach the cost, Bullstrap's Ocean color is gorgeous and should hold up well. I had one for my 12 Pro and it was awesome.

I have the Nomad in dark brown, and I really like it. Leather is high quality (though scratches more easily than other leather cases...but they semi-heal and become part of the patina, rather than looking cruddy). Fit on mine is great. I'm so glad they finally fixed the buttons...I've had two previous nomad cases and the buttons were awful on them. This year they're fantastic. Easy to press, with excellent tactile feedback. I also have the Andar in Camel Tan, which is also excellent. I like both cases a lot.

I can't speak to this year's but in the past they have been considerably heavier.

Just received a leather case for my iPhone 12 Pro from Good Wilhelm. As soon as I opened the package I smelled the leather immediately. Really really high quality case and amazing customer service. They’re based in Germany - the case cost €50. Looking forward to seeing the natural patina show over time (I’ve attached some photos I uploaded to reddit).

Does anyone have the Ryan London case and the Andar Aspen? I'm curious about the differences other than the open bottom of the RL.

Received my Andar Navy case. Here are some photos with natural lighting. As others have said, it does have a slight greenish look at certain lighting/angles but I like the greenish color too.

I really prefer the full leather camera bump on the Bullstrap, but I like the bottom coverage on the Andar. Tough choice. I’ll post some side by side pics once I receive the BS ocean.

Here are some updated photos of my Andar Navy after nearly 1 month of daily use. I haven’t wiped/cleaned it with anything other than my hands… Overall I’m extremely happy with it and ended up canceling my BS Ocean order.

Camera ring is better in RL because it is wrapped in leather

Buttons are the same as BullStrap on the RL

Leather slightly different on both, both great quality

Edges feel a bit sharper on Andar nothing crazy though, bit more rounded on RL

Same lay on the table protection

Probably doesn’t matter too much since the leather smell fades away after a while, but is significantly stronger on Andar

I wish Andar would the ditch the metal camera ring and have for a BullStrap sienna color. Not a big fan of camel tan. That would be the perfect case

I’m with you on the camera ring. I used an Aspen last year and it was chipped up within a week or so.

The RL leather case is perfect; I love the buttons and the open bottom is perfectly comfortable. The smell isn’t slap-in-the-face like some other brands and at 15 days in it’s still there if I give it a close sniff.

At $53 shipped internationally, it’s about the best you can do if you want a quality leather case.

Yeah that delay is new this year. The one I ordered last year I received within a couple of days but this one seemed to take forever. Worth the wait though!

Yeah, the metal ring on my Aspen is chipped in two places and I don't even know how. I haven't dropped the phone at all.
