Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

Eww…you really put it to good use lol. Idk if mine will ever look like that, even with everyday use. But I think with the squared edges of the phone it’s bound to happen with any case. A forced patina right out the box might be good idea so later on it doesn’t end up looking like it’s been thru hell in just a month.

That’s the thing. Was nothing extreme, I work from home, iPhone never fell, never spilled any liquid on it plus I used chamberlain’s leather milk once a week or so.
I got this ANDAR case a month and a half ago. And again. I don’t know if it was bad luck. Or it’s just a bad leather case.

I haven’t seen pics with +1 month with ANDAR cases. All the photos I found were with the brand new case out of the box.
Now checking their return policy lol

I bet if you saddle soap that case it will even out.

i did hit it with a teeny amount of beard oil that was left over on my hands from using it on, you guessed it, my beard. it smells really nice

I gotta start doing this. I normally wash it off my hands after rubbing them on the mop a few times.

Perfect. It’s symmetrical all the way around and is sufficient even with a glass screen protector.

I think too much conditioner will make the leather a gunk magnet.

Ughhhh that's awful. Hopefully mine comes quicker than that. My replacement BS case will be here before that if mine takes as long as yours.

just fine, i tend to prefer open bottom cases for the swiping

Some transformation photos of the bad batch BS Sienna. Used a boat load of rubbing alcohol to wipe off the paint/coating. And then a few coats of mink seed oil. So far it’s looking like actual leather to the point I don’t have an issue with it as much. I’m still going to stop using it when the new cases come in though.

I have found that out of the box, they do tend to pop out a little easy but give it a couple of days and it doesn't so much, almost sticks to the phone

Nothing since Saturday. Hopefully there is some movement this morning.

Mine is now showing with customs in NY. At least it’s in the states now. Who knows how long it takes to clear there though and Friday is a holiday for USPS I believe.

Yeah, I have to force mine off the corners.

I tried several on the phone in the shop prior to buying and bought the best fitting one and one corner was quite easy to pop off.
