Yes I wanted to see what it did. I wish these didn’t have that coating.
just put a devastating gouge in my RL case above the camera bump. deep enough to see the black underneath. brutal. hit it with the leather milk and it'll heal if i'm careful. felt like i cut my own skin.
Anyone see movement on the Cretanbull case? Mine is still stuck at label created.

I personally like the BS color better. The RL has a little more red than I like. I love the RL case though.
The Sienna is such a nice color especially if you get one with nice leather variations in grained. The RL Saddle is on the spectrum of the umber Apple case as you mentioned with more of a red tint.
That orangey-tan of the RL case looks great to me.
RL’s Saddle looks like Horween’s English Tan or Amaretto in photos I’ve seen which are two of my favorites.
Apple’s Umber looks more like some browned up red brick shade to me.
All of these cases will darken with patina and will end up looking pretty similar in the end (except for Umber) so that out of the box color shouldn’t matter all that much.
RL’s Saddle looks like Horween’s English Tan or Amaretto in photos I’ve seen which are two of my favorites.
Apple’s Umber looks more like some browned up red brick shade to me.

BullStrap is a really nice case none the less. Just extremely overpriced unless you have earned a few points with them.
RL is priced competitively well. Fit, buttons leather is near identical to that of BullStraps.
I am excited to see how the CretanBull case turn out all the colors look identical to BullStrap and again at a much more reasonable price tag.
Can’t forget about Andar! Full body protection the only draw back is that metal camera ring which some have claimed that starts to chip away pretty quick.
Overall I am happy to see all the great options we have this year. Including apples umber, ink leathers cases which I really like, but for now I’ll stick with the RL.

How long was yours on the “pre-shipment” stage? Mine hit that late last night so hoping for movement today. No ETA on mine yet presumably since USPS doesn’t have the case yet.
Anybody considering a Spigen Enzo this year? I keep reminding myself that I have way too many cases, but the black Enzo looks 🔥 and extremely tempting.

The leather doesn’t even smell good. More like Apple’s. Also worth mentioning are the rattling buttons and the raised logo that makes the phone rock worse than it already does.
I think that combo will look really good. And that is a good looking case.
Yeah. Apple should always have a classic black/brown. But then we wouldn't be forced to buy new MagSafe wallets yearly.
