Excellent. Well I took the plunge and the orange should be here today I believe for mine!
I really like them both! The ink is very close to midnight just in certain lights it gets brighter. Compared my new one to my husbands and his looks darker anyway. This will darken with time ☺️

I didn’t like the Apple options very much this year and stumbled upon this forum and got some great suggestions from everyone. Thanks for those. I ended up going with a Blackbrook case. Had it only a few days so far and like the feel compared to my Apple Ink. It’s the first time I’ve gotten something other than Apple leather. It also seems to hold better. The Apple case always came off at the corners while in my pocket. This has a tighter fit.

Will the camera cutout shrink and flatten gradually throughout this period?

It’s got it’s perks too and I like the solidly black and raised leather lip around the camera vs a plastic buffer and the more rounded edges near the screen lip

After two days with the ink I have to say it’s probably my favorite color of the apple cases. It’s so nice! Feels softer than my midnight for sure
