That’s probably more down to QC lottery than difference in texture between colors but … good you got a good unit !

I’m out for a snowboarding excursion and started out with the Speck case (clear plastic) but was not digging how slippery it was so I ditched it.

I’ve decided I’m gonna keep the Ink leather safe in my room and ride caseless. Last time I was out I had the 12 Mini and that thing handled my abuse like a champ.

I've had this in my cart for awhile now just never pulled the trigger. The only time I seen it not a stock photo was Technically Tee did a video of it with the other colors.

The grip is amazing, that's probably one of the main reasons I keep buying Apple Leather Cases. Nothing comes close to it. I guess I was hoping that seems it was darker than last year's golden brown it wouldn't wear down the same way around the edges. It seems that only the Black cases won't wear like this.

I think it looks awesome because the darkness of the wear in the leather matches the camera protector ring. Very classy look IMO. I'd be happy to see it wear even more!

My midnight case is unfortunately wearing like this too. It’s not as noticeable until you get out in the sun. Then you can see it really well :/

My Ink leather doesn’t have anything like that. It’s developed the shiny edges like they always have for me.

I’ve said it before but I think it bears repeating. I’ve had a leather case every year and I’ve never seen wear like this on any of them yet we still see pictures year after year which leads me to believe it’s peoples’ individual oils causing it.

Yeah, in my experience, they all wear like this. It's just the darker colours you cannot notice it unless in direct sunlight.

The lighter colours just don't age well
 
My midnight is doing something similar. At the same time I’m going to feeling enough confident to rock my 14PM caseless with wallet on the back ✌🏻
