yea I suppose so, although the iPhone 8 and Xs cases from Apple were very different and beautifully aged. If I knew the 14 Pro ones are like this I wouldn't have bought from Apple.

My Umber case is wearing just the same. I don’t think it looks good at all.

Alleged FineWoven unboxing - looks pretty decent in this video I have to say - and interestingly if you look closely at the box, it says “Black” and not “Midnight” - we shall soon see true black has returned.

Am looking at switching from my Spigen to leather for my 13 PM and wondering if snatching up one of the Apple ones (in saddle brown) would be worth it, or whether it'd just be better to go with something from Nomad et al??

Just dropped the phone and it shows the leather underneath.
Apple definitely did dye the leather, not just paint the surface. But when it wears, the paint still comes off and shows the black colour. I don’t really get why it does that.

If you’re debating over Apple or Nomad one of the questions you should ask yourself is how much protection are you looking for? I have a Nomad case and it offers superior drop protection to the Apple cases. It does add a little bulk though. I personally use my Bullstrap case 90% of the time though.

i have midnight leather for iPhone 13.i used one and half year.not to much aged so I was very pleased🤗
now I bought iPhone 14 pro and I wanna apple leather case umber color.
I wonder if those who use it can post it if they see it?
Normally, I use it very cleanly, so it hasn't worn out much. Are there any friends who use it?

If I look at the Apple site now here in Germany it looks like all leather cases have been pulled completely for all models.

I was considering getting one for my 14pro … but I’m too late it seems. No longer offered and no fine woven alternatives either.

Ah well .. off to Amazon before they’re all gone there too.
