You said it doesn't feel as good as its competitors and I disagree with you as I consider Apple to be a competitor and the Bullstrap case feels just as good as the Apple case did for my 11 Pro.

Oh ok, sorry I wasn’t sure what you were disagreeing with. I haven’t held the Apple leather case for the 11 pro in years, so I don’t recall the feel. I just remember it being very smooth and soft. The Bullstrap was not that smooth nor soft, so that’s why I say what I do. That being said, the Apple leather was $60 and the Bullstrap is $85. I don’t see $25 more dollars with the Bullstrap either.

I need to chill? I am not the one calling people trolls. I also have not being arguing with anyone for 40 pages. There is another user that asking everyone that gets the Bullstrap if their box says top grain, but that’s not me.

As for discounts, I am not sure how that applies here. This has been brought up before. Yes you can get the case cheaper, as with everyone company that makes cases. But this case was designed from Bullstrap with the expectation that is was the quality of $85. Why if you can always get discounts is the Bullstrap not 20% cheaper out of the gate? Seems like if there are always discounts, they should just lower the price.

It's a common retail tactic, just like Prime Day for example. Apple warranties their cases for what, 1 year? There's your biggest difference. I can truly say that the Bullstrap I received yesterday feels every bit as smooth and soft as my 11 Pro Apple Leather case. It's the closest thing we'll see to Apple, imo, given the open bottom which I prefer.

I worked in retail for 16 years, and it’s is a common practice to discount items to bring life to a product mid cycle, but to offer discount right out of the gate is not common practice.

I agree the lifetime warranty is great. No doubt. Maybe I got older stock from Bullstrap, but for me they weren’t on the same level.

I am honestly trying to find the replacement for Apple. I don’t think there is a 1:1, but maybe I can find something close. For me Bullstrap is not it. Just my opinion. I think it’s still ok to have an opinion.

Few pics of Lonli edition on 15 Pro max white. Absolutely beautiful case.

How is the leather smell out of the box? Does it actually feel like full grain leather?
Absolutely amazing and feel of the case is brilliant, really soft.
Time will tell how it will patina though.

And I always had apple leather cases so this one is best so far just like old leather cases and buttons are very responsive too. Going to order in black too.

That’s great! Can’t wait until they come back in stock for the 15PM.

Not to pile on with Bullstrap’s top grain vs full grain, but their marketing department needs to get it together.

Watch when you scroll down to the bottom of the page, the CEO’s video in the first 10 seconds with him describing the case as “premium TOP Grain leather that we’re known for.”

Between the launch last year with the terrible quality leather they let get into customers hands, areas on the website saying full grain, box and CEO calling it top grain. This isn’t a $25-30 cheap Chinese junk case. Get it right, and be consistent with the messaging about what people are paying decent cash for.

Except it will be a $25-30 “junk” case from China as that’s where they’ll be getting them from.

They may be good cases; their marketing team in recent years has been on point but now the cracks are beginning to show. They are mugging people off selling those cases at $85 a pop. Plain and simple.

So they have had wrong boxes since the iPhone 14s were released? I call bs. They have had a year and entire new iPhone to correct, and yet the 15s still have it. That excuse does not fly with me. Something fishy is going on. I have now ordered a case from Amazon from Bullstrap that was clearly early stock (very dry), and then got one directly from Bullstrap, and both have Top Grain on them. If this mistake was made back when the iPhone 14s were released, there is no way they wouldn’t have corrected it before the iPhone 15s came out. The box had to be redesigned for the 15s, but yet the box still says top grain.

I don’t think it’s full grain, and it’s clearly outmatched by several other cases that are full grain. I no longer trust them.

Its
Not
That
Serious

you and ifone88 need to put the leather cases down and go outside

Well careful you will get blasted for having an opinion on Bullstrap. But I completely agree with you.

This isn’t a competitor to the old Apple leather cases. It’s a fairly nice leather case, but totally over priced.

Just got mine in today and best feeling one I ever received from them. Buttery soft and an excellent grain pattern. Far and above the other brands I tried and sent back. I did keep the Tech Tee Andar one though out of support. Totally overpriced? I paid $48 bucks. To each their own I guess.

Nice, glad you like yours. Wish my experience had been the same.

I mean overpriced at $85. At $48, decent deal.

Okay guys…. The Keyway Whiskey for my iPhone 15 is here. It feels fantastic and has a very nice rich leather smell. The case is a tad slippery but that's not uncommon for brand new leather cases so I'm not going to knock any points off for that. I have always found it takes a few days for leather to develop a bit of grip. Funny enough my first thought was how much it feels like the old series 7 & 8 Apple leather cases felt right out of the box. I hope it ages like those old Apple cases did. The buttons are black metal to match the camera ring and branding. They are also have a nice click feel and are and responsive too.

For some of you the metal camera ring and the branding are going to be an issue and I can understand that. It’s not for me as I always put my phone down screen down anyways. I also like the uniqueness of the logo and the fact its not just stamped into the leather like every other brand out there.

The lip extends just enough to lay it on the screen ( with a screen protector installed) safely. It lays evenly with no wobble and it appears all sides are uniform. I'm at work so I can't take a photo of it in the case right now but it looks great with the black iPhone 15.

I can't comment on the magsafe yet. I have a black apple leather magsafe wallet coming but it has not arrived yet.

I don’t know what it weighs, nor do I care to be honest.

Based on the customer review photos I saw on their website I think this is going to age and patina beautifully.

That looks really nice! Looks like it will have a good patina with some use. Wonder how fast it will be.

It doesn't appear to have any fake or protective coating on it so it should start to patina fairly soon. In fact I can already see where my nose touched it... it smells so good I can't stop. ha ha.

I don't consider Bullstrap expensive when you have 2 free replacements a year. I like to have that option that if I drop my phone and the case is broken, I just contact them and they will send you a link where you can complete the replacement. So $85 for 3 cases, technically, is not bad at all.

The bullstrap case gets very smooth and soft after a couple weeks just like most real leather products

Oh yeah that looks real nice!!! Really looking forward to getting mine in. It looks about as thin as the apple cases. My only concern is if the raised x will cause any issues with my MagSafe wallet sitting flat.

One of the reviews on their website mentioned that MagSafe accessories didn’t always sit flush because of the X. Such a great looking case otherwise!
