I’m curious to just buy Saddle Brown for my iPhone X and just test it out just for the unique patina and how it will turn out. but I’m happy with my midnight blue leather and Pad and Quill wood case also.

So seems like an expensive $50 test......does this mean I’m addicted to cases now?

Just picked up a saddle case for my X today after all these pics. I was debating getting it last week and instead got a black silicon case. Returned it today and got the saddle. Glad I did. Will post pics down the road as it ages.

Had a person comment on my red leather yesterday.

Nah I don’t want leather, it looks dirty.

The guy behind me asked if he could reach around me. He grabbed a red leather case for his X and commented, some people don’t understand and walked away.

This is probably 6-8 weeks old, I do have another clear has i was using more at first. I tend to take this off when I’m at home as well. Suggestions on how to make mine look a little better? You can really tell where i hold it and you can tell i’m left handed lol

If it makes you feel better, I think it looks nice, and I’m not generally a patina fan. (I’ve sprayed my Dark Aubergine and Red with Crep Protect in an attempt to prevent it.) Yours doesn’t look terribly uneven, though, which is what usually bothers me. I think it just looks nicely worn in.

Just gotta keep rubbing it to wear it in evenly. I love this case either way.

I think there's a difference between a patina that's mainly dirt and grime, and a patina that's even overall and caused by ageing and natural skin oils. I'd say the patina in post #183 is a good example of the latter.

183 looks nice too. My problem is that I like both leather and bright colors, and I do not at all like the way some of the bright colors patina, hence my trying to prevent it. I don’t like the hugely drastic contrasts on different parts of the case. A little overall darkening and aging is fine.

iPhone 7 Saddle Brown case.
Has been on my phone for about 8 months, but I’ve been switching cases now and then.

About to buy one for my new iPhone X as well, leaning towards Saddle Brown again but I really like the Cosmos blue also.

Decisions, decisions...

Do you exercise with this watch band? Does it handle sweat well? Thanks!

Went to nearest Apple store and bought a Saddle Brown for my iPhone X also.
Obviously looks all new and clean at this moment, looking forward to some nice aging. Will take a while until it looks as the iPhone 7 one above.

I have several sports bands for exercising, so honestly I can’t how it handles those conditions.
