I find the 15 Pro RL OB rather uncomfortable to hold at the bottom, too. Shame, because it’s one of the best cases. I generally stick with closed-bottom cases because the OB cases tend to dig into my pinky. I find the BS OB case slightly more comfortable than the RL one.

Just received the Nomad Olde Dublin that I got on sale during Boxing Day.

The leather smell is very strong and I like the colour, even though it’s MUCH MUCH darker than I thought it’d be and darker than the box art…

I’ve also seen some posts on reddit about the case discoloring in a weird way. Hope mine doesn’t do that.

Really? I don’t find the 16 pro RL OB uncomfortable at all.

I hear ya. I manage banks and am constantly on the move and phone. I tell the, the phones you give me have no use but every year a new one arrives.

Pretty much the only reason I haven't switched to the pro max. I went ahead and updated to the beta and my battery is okay again, but the pro and leather cases is chef kiss. The size with a RL open bottom case, it's literally perfect for me. Not too bulky, still portable. Take a pro max with a leather case, that's a brick man! I'm 6'3 too with i'd say decent size hands, and the pro max is a bit too much for me.

I do dream about watching youtube and the battery life on the max though. If I were to do a max, I'd probably do like a benks armor air, or a pitaka. Some thin case that's really just for grip. I don't like the way leather cases look on the max personally

Def opinions vary. I have extremely small hands and the pro max with a leather case doesn’t bother me a bit. I think if I was used to a smaller size then yeah I guess you can say I’d probably notice the size and weight. But I’m so used to the max sized phone that it just feels normal to me I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

I guess it's one of those things. You're right opinions vary. I've had both, and to me the pro just feels and looks the best with a leather case. Not sure what it is about it. I'm also a strictly open bottom only kind of guy so.

Yep the perfect size! With the leather case, it makes it fit perfect in my hand. I had the 15 PM before the 16 pro, and the battery life on iOS 18.3 beta is pretty much the same. I have no regrets on getting the pro.

This! I couldn't imagine going back to the pro just for my user experience. Few co workers have the 18.3 beta and are mind boggled how massive a difference my battery life is not to mention how perfect the max feels with a leather case for me of course each user preference is unique. More room for patina also lol. I hold my co workers pro's and it feels like a mini at least in my hands.

You do get use to the smaller size. I did real quick. But I get what you guys are saying. I can’t use the even bigger 16 PM though.
