Starting fresh. Just going to let it happen completely naturaly this time without any oil or conditioners added. Looking forward to seeing how it ages.
Man, whenever I get a new iPhone I always buy the black leather Apple case and love it, but then I end up buying a ton of other cases cause they look cool (like 10-12) and then I always end up coming back to the Apple leather case. They just feel so good and I love how the black ages & seems to have a better grip then some of the other colors I think.

According to distance from apple logo to camera opening I would say it's 11 Pro.
lmao I go through the exact same thing. And I switch it up some days just so the phone feels fresh again.
but yeah, the black leather is soooo classy looking and feeling. I really hope Apple will always sell these real leather cases for their phones for a long time.
I’m in a similar situation, except I switch between the black leather case and going caseless. Seemingly every couple of days. First world problems, I know.
Love the look of the caseless phone, but also love the feel of the black leather case, especially as it ages.
It ages like all other leather products do. Hence the reason for this whole tread.
Specifically though, I like how the grip improves over time. I’m sure the grip is similar to other color cases, I just prefer the black with space gray combination (or more like really dark gray with space gray combination for the 11 pro).
So I’ve been using something a little different the last 4 months, since retiring my Forest Green case.
It's a skin/wrap made from thick full-grain Horween leather. It doesn't really provide any protection though, just grip, as it only covers the back, and the sides of the phone are completely exposed.. but I like it. And it's gotten a lot of compliments.
